Queensbridge Hotel

Very handy location along promenade. Room nice and clean. Staff all pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay at the Queensbridge Hotel. The staff were wonderful, and so was the breakfast, with plenty of choice and eggs cooked fresh as needed. First class! However our room was on the back and looked out at scaffolding to the building. Beyond that we saw the mountain which was good. The room was ideal for a family, and on the first floor. The drawback was the lift not working and the dining room was downstairs. The bathroom could have been cleaner with the door having spills down it and dust on the ledges. Lovely people.

Great location, room was spacious. An older property but loved it for its character and charm. The breakfast was awesome!

Good enough place to stay out of season

The disgusting state of the bathroom overshadowed any plus points in this room. View would have been good if the windows weren’t filthy. Only positive was the lady overseeing breakfast, very friendly and helpful. Signage outside says there is a lift but this doesn’t work. Would not stay here again.

Great location right on the front with friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is excellent. Rooms are functional and have all the basics needed.

Staff who prepared breakfast were wonderful, helpful and informative. Problem with the property is that if you have a room on the 3rd floor it's a pain carrying up your suitcases.There is an elevator but it only carries one person and when I tried to take my suitcase with me the elevator couldn’t make the last 18" so I had to go back to the ground floor and it was a bit nerve racking.

Great beach view from room. Very good full breakfast. Friendly staff. Clean room and ensuite bathroom.

Hotel cancelled my prepaid booking without notifying me

I booked this hotel 3 months before going, on the way to Aberystwyth I had a phone call to say they had messed up the booking and were transferring me to their sister hotel, The Four Seasons. The car park can only hold 4 cars, you have to then take your chances of not falling fowl of the parking rules on the street. When checking in, i was told i would be in one room for 2 nights and then moved to another room for the third and final night. The restaurant doesn't open in the evening because only one member of staff covers the entire hotel in the evenings!! I left a day early with the owner refusing to refund me for his mess up, he said i could come back and use that night in future- i will never book with them again. I suspect that the other hotel is as badly managed. And the shower didn't drain properly. The staff were lovely, but that was the only good point. The walls were thin and I could hear the TVs and conversations on both sides when trying to sleep.

One of the highlights was definitely the lovely breakfast—a fantastic way to start the day. In the evenings, the in-house bar was a cozy spot to unwind. Even better was the outdoor terrace, which provided the perfect setting to sit and enjoy the breathtaking sunset. The location is also excellent; the hotel is quiet, yet only a two-minute walk from lots of food options, making it incredibly convenient. I highly recommend the Queensbridge Hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable, friendly, and quiet place to stay in Aberystwyth.

This hotel is not 5 star in photos but the cleanliness, food, location and especially the staff are. Loved our stay. Will stay again!

Very friendly staff. Comfy room. A small lift though to upper floors. If you are claustrophobic not great. I managed though. Only room for one. Otherwise a lovely place to stay on seafront. Breakfast was great. Plenty of choice. Self service including English breakfast. Enjoyed. Thank you.
