First time to Prambanan + Prambanan Jazz event, exciting, great, and worth it. The temple area is very clean and the experience is very enjoyable.

I came here to watch the Prambanan Jazz Festival and the one I wanted to watch happened to be performing at the latest at 11. I bought it online just in case I had to queue up. If I bought it on the spot, the price would be different if I bought it during operating hours and outside operating hours. During operating hours, the price was 50k, outside operating hours, the price was 25k.

Sat set, no need to queue, just go in.

Prambanan is really nice, you can take pictures and do educational tours.

I came to Prambanan because there was an event being held nearby, but I couldn’t resist taking some time to explore the temple complex as well—and I’m really glad I did. Even though my main reason for being here wasn’t sightseeing, visiting Prambanan felt like a special bonus. The temple is absolutely stunning, with its towering structures and detailed stone carvings. It’s easy to see why it’s considered one of the most beautiful Hindu temples in the world. Walking around the site, I was fascinated by the history and stories behind the temple—especially the legend of Roro Jonggrang. Even with limited time, just being there and taking in the atmosphere was worth it. If you ever have the chance to stop by, even briefly, I’d definitely recommend it. It’s a great place to take a break, enjoy some history, and admire the beauty of ancient architecture.
