The area is neat and very clean. There's a good, tasty, and reasonably priced restaurant within the complex. It's perfect for a break, lunch, and prayer.

The staff is very friendly, the directions are clear. Bring an umbrella in case of rain or heat. Buy a ticket that just goes up to the courtyard and you'll be very satisfied. Be prepared for your feet, as it's quite spacious and has a lot of walking.

The trip to the Borobudur temple courtyard uses a shuttle bus so it's not too tiring, but when you go back you have to pay for the bus again if you want to go back.

Come early in the morning so it's not too hot and it's still quiet, very comfortable.

The entry process was quite smooth, as it wasn't too crowded. However, the most disappointing part was the poor exit service. The free trains weren't properly disembarked, and there was a tendency to be deliberately taken to the shopping area, which was very confusing to get to the car parking area. There were no friendly staff to help, especially for the elderly who were tired, hot, and just wanted to go home.

The staff was friendly and helpful, and even though it was very crowded, they were very well-coordinated. The only problem is, why is the free shuttle so far from the temple exit? 😫 But even so, my first experience at the temple was quite impressive 🥰

After 5 years, I finally visited Borobudur again with my children. It was fun except for the limited access to the temple (but it was understandable). We were entertained by special cars for visitors and a cultural and culinary park. Borobudur is always memorable.

easy to enter, just scan the qr so no need to queue anymore, because if you have to queue it's really tiring because of the long queue. The beauty of Borobudur temple is clean but unfortunately the tickets to go up to the temple ran out so I couldn't go up:(

Don't forget to wear sunscreen if you go there during the day. Happy for children to know the history of the temple. Try to go up, soo fun seeing about Candi Borobudur history.
