I had a very late check-in and later had to request a room change due to a strong unpleasant odor in the first room. We were moved to another room, which smelled better, but I found the bathtub revolting, with significant mold along the bath seal. The sink constantly flooded because of the old-fashioned double taps (one for hot, one for cold water). The bidet was broken and leaked water onto the floor. The exterior of the hotel, particularly on the balcony side, looked very dirty. They should consider hiring professionals to clean the outside of the building periodically. The TV options in English were extremely limited or non-existent, which was very frustrating. The hotel provides one complimentary bottle of water per guest per day, but on a few occasions, we had a “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door, but we were still denied water for those days. This forced us to buy water from a grocery store, which felt unnecessarily petty on the part of the reception staff. Overall, the staff is very nice but the hotel has serious issues with cleanliness, maintenance, and service that need attention.

Good location and great service

Staff were really good and the breakfast was good. The only problem was there was not enough night life near the hotel.

Great location in historic centre. Close to great food options, shopping and great access to fitness centre. Service at hotel was excellent. Front door staff very attentive and professional - really demonstrate the value of a 5-star establishment. Room comfortable - and good value for money. Highly recommend.

Room condition was mediocre. Electric plugs not working, balcony locked shut.

Room needs some maintenance, especially electric. The rooms have balconies but they cannot be opened - what a disappointment.

Issues with the toilet, it was fixed however the toilet continued to have issues with flushing. When I ordered food, I asked the meat of the burger to be well done, and the meat was red when I was eating it.
