I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Louisville while attending a conference, and my experience was exceptional from start to finish. The hotel is absolutely beautiful — modern, clean, and perfectly situated in the heart of downtown, making it easy to walk to restaurants, shops, and event venues. What truly stood out, though, was the level of service. Every staff member I encountered was professional and welcoming, but I want to especially highlight Kristy at the front desk. She went above and beyond to help me with changes to my reservation, handled everything with kindness and professionalism, and made what could have been a stressful process completely seamless. Her genuine care and positive energy set the tone for the rest of my stay. The rooms were spacious, the amenities were top-notch, and the conference facilities were well-organized and comfortable — a perfect fit for both business and leisure travelers. Overall, I highly recommend the Hyatt Regency Louisville to anyone visiting the area. The combination of a prime location, beautiful environment, and outstanding staff (especially Kristy!) made my stay truly memorable.

Hotel is lovely. Staff A-1. Not 1 complaint

Parking was difficult. We could not sleep due to loudness of other guests. They sounded as if they were having a party until 4am when it finally quieted. At one point there was a dog barking. It was difficult to get any sleep.

Overall the hotel was fine. Restaurant great! Gym great! Security staff excellent! The hotel was let down by housekeeping it was not good at all if they came. One day no show, Two days beds were pulled up not made.One day came at 3:30pm for a total of 4 minutes. Of our 7 day stay only 2 days the room looked like they cared. It really let the hotel down when all other staff tried so hard.

Great proximity and vibe. Staff security were friendly and did a great job of patrolling grounds.

Within walking distance to many downtown sights. Comfortable rooms. The staff was great. They made us feel welcome.

Clean room and very convenient to eateries. The phone was not working in my room, but that was my only gripe. The staff was wonderful!

We missed our first night due to a cancelled flight and arrived at 4pm then next day. They had resold our room and did not have another clean. Very disappointing considering we had paid for a room and were exhausted and then had to wait for a room to be cleaned. The layout of the hotel with the open atrium lends to a noisy stay.

Only complaint was vending machines were conpletely sold out on floor

The rug was dirty and very old . The only better part of hotel was gym facilities.

Room was gross- good thing I brought my own Clorox wipes. Parking is annoying - you are forced to valet, and I arrived at 530pm and was told my room wasn’t ready (check in is at 4pm). The bathroom shower doesn’t make any sense & the air conditioning unit was so loud, I had to blast my tv to watch anytning. would not stay here again.
