Pretty shocked at the condition of this hotel. Old smelly carpet and the TV was fuzzy and not a Smart TV, all first world problems I guess. No USB ports in the room either. Was clean, you can just tell this place hasn’t been updated in forever. My first time in Charleston but I was shocked at $180 per night stay, I guess our standards are a little different in Tampa/St Pete, FL. Maybe this is good for the area? Staff was friendly and nice.

Went to the hotel to stay for a Heart Concert. Although the hotel was crowded the staff was very efficient and helpful. Liked that is was right across the street from the show.

Easy, fast check in. A lot of construction by the building and garage. Beware, parking garage height very low. My Ram truck missed the the cross beams by 1 1/2 inches.

It’s a dated hotel that looks old from the inside and out. The lobby is decent but the rooms look like from 2005. Clean but old. The parking lot is a disgrace. Paid $15 for parking overnight even though there is no functional gate or voucher we placed in our dash. Needs upgrades and making parking worth it.

The bed was comfy and the chairs were also- the hassock a nice touch and very needed. We didn’t like the area ( torn down buildings, area did not look safe to walk) Had to pay for parking in a not so nice garage. Had to pay for breakfast $17 per person. Think we much prefer Hampton Inns

This is a nice hotel but it needs upgrading bad. I dont anything has been done to the hotel since being built. Everything is old, carpets in hallways are dirty and the halls smell musky. My room was cold.carpeting in rooms are old and bed covering was stained.

My room was very clean and the staff was kind and courteous. The pool was under construction and closed and the balcony in the room I booked was not accessible, neither of which was noted in the description of the hotel at time of booking. I specifically ordered a balcony room with the expectation of being able to use the balcony and I chose a hotel with a pool for the same reason. I was disappointed to learn that neither of these things were available only after arriving for my stay.

This area of town has seen its better days. Not sure if the hotel is under renovation or needs to be.
