Hotel was extra friendly to bikers. Staff was very friend and always helpful with any information needed, be it travel or dinning they were willing to take time to answer any questions. Hotel is located close to port of entry. Rooms were very clean. Cant say enough good things and over all my stay was awesome !

We needed a place to stay cuz our tent was flooding from the rainfall they were kind enough to give us a room we came at midnight. other than that, the beds were really comfortable the staff was really kind. The walls were pealing and the bathroom had rust on it so did the beds other than that it was a great experience.🙂

Great loxarion

Staff is amazing. This is what we’ve seen in general in Yarmouth. Real nice people. Property was dated but the room was very clean. There was no free breakfast option and we had to buy our breakfast at hotel diner. Not a big deal but… the location is amazing. Would stay there again in a heartbeat

Nice room and surprisingly good food in the restaurant. Kendra was our server and she was great.

The restaurant food was pretty terrible. We had dinner the night we arrived and found most of it inedible.

The hotel is aged but decently maintained. Key items like the bathtub, flooring and air conditioning have been updated. The staff are absolutely lovely to deal with. Their food however, is horrid and has made me sick on both occassions. It is microwaved from a can. My bowl was hotter than my soup and my bun was still frozen in the middle. The gravy on my sandwich was so salty I couldn’t eat it. I recommend the hotel for a downtown stay, but don’t eat at the restaurant.

Limited parking. Room was old decor and furniture. Upgrading poorly done and need of repair

This is an excellent hotel with spacious clean rooms. The location is close to the ferry terminal and other local restaurants. The staff is exceptionally friendly, helpful and welcoming. A far cry from most U.S. hotel staff. Don’t ever change!

The bed was not comfortable the toilet was so low to the floor not good for seniors but the staff was very pleasant and helpful.

Excellent stay at the Rodd Grand and will definitely stay when crossing to Nova Scotia. Everyone was so friendly and Gale Resturant has excellent food. Overall a great experience at the hotel.

Convenient location to the CAT ferry, comfortable room, good breakfast, a bit dated

Front staff were very nice upon check in. Pool area was not maintained well floors were dirty. No signage telling you where the pool was. The floor we stayed on had a very strong weed odor which seeped into our room. Overall stay was ok just expected more from a Rodd hotel

Clean, beds comfortable. Could have used a new bathroom sink. Toilet was so low.

We enjoyed our stay here for two nights. We had everything that we would want. The room had a Great view of the harbour and CAT Ferry. We did not use the indoor pool but it looked very inviting. The Hotel was in the process of receiving updates and our room was fully complete. Would stay here again if in the area.
