I stayed here for a week because my boyfriend had to get surgery. It is very close to the hospital. About a 3 minute drive and 5-10 minute walk. Comfortable beds and clean room. One thing I was not happy with was the mattress protector came off the bed, when I went to put it back on, there was a rather big faded red stain on the mattress. I switched beds at that point because I was thinking it was blood. But other than that, the room was good. Also was not 100% comfortable with the fact that you can access the next room through a door in your room but there is locks there to stop the other people in the next room from opening your door. Staff was friendly and I liked that you’re able to click a button down at the front desk to call a taxi. Food from the restaurant on site was delicious and fast and friendly room service. I would stay here again.

The staff were very helpful on check in and check out. It was disappointing that you had to pay extra to have a room with a bath. The room was only cleaned every other day, which was not on the website. The onion soup was delicious, really recommend that. Bar staff were attentive and friendly. I would recommend the hotel.

The hotel was nice, staff was helpful, pool area was great, rooms were clean and comfortable, but it was loud! When we were in our room we could hear quite a bit of noise from the hall (people talking, kids running), there were weird tapping noises in the morning (couldn't tell where they were coming from) and the construction at the new hospital across the street started before 7am (weekdays) with some loud thumping.

Clean room- restaurant food was so delicious!

Loved that they offer underground parking. Kids loved the pool area, but they do tend to run out of towls a lot. TV channel didn't work, but was able to connect my phone to stream videos for the kids. The hotel was close to Dalhousie University about 12 minute walk which was great.

Great location. Want informed at check in that they only clean rooms every two days unless you request. As we were only there for 2 nights... it was less than ideal. Had to call to request soap, a microwave and towels on the second day... and staff was less than friendly. Parking is $28 per night but appears safe. It's a decent option but not as high-amenity as other hotels in Halifax.

Clean room, nice selection of product in bathroom (smells so nice), staff was very nice as well.

Everything was perfect except that it would be lovely if they have a free breakfast.
