We enjoyed being so near the shopping and dining on Newbury Street. However, we should have been told about the incredibly loud music/party/event that started at 11:00pm and lasted until 2:00/2:30am. We were given a room on the first floor with a window at street level and were kept awake for the entire time due to party-goers on the street and the sub-woofer of the music. We had to be up at 5:45am to catch a flight and got very lilttle sleep. We should have been told upon check-in and given the option of staying on another floor.

Elevator took so long we did stairs up and down 5 flights for days. There is no laundry even though it says there is.

Older building that's seen better days, but in some ways that lends to its charm. I only stayed for 48 hours but I enjoyed my time there and the hotel is in a great area.

Great location. Very kind staff. Elevator would take you on questionable rides so just keep that in mind!

It was unique. Feel like it could use a lot of updating. Elevator was hit or miss on if it would work. Could hear everything going on around us. There was a weird smell as well. Staff was very nice.

The hotel was close to the Prudential Center and the Back Bay which made it convenient for walking around. The property itself was fine… the rooms were a little creepy and the bathroom was outdated (the railing was

The location was advantageous to where we went in Boston and what we did. The room was too small. I didn't like that we had to go down to the first floor to use a microwave or get tea or coffee. I would have preferred these appliances in my room. The hotel didn't have a restaurant. This was very inconvenient.

This hotel is the oldest in Boston and it definitely looks it. For $350 a night, I wish I had stayed somewhere else. But you can't beat the location.

Easy check in, surprisingly large room and bathroom. Fridge and freezer in room. Unfortunately only 1 of 2 elevators functioning. Check out was easy and luggage hold was appreciated.
