Very central location which is great for walking to key sights, though it can be very busy! Also means it can be quite loud outside at night. Hotel was clean and staff were great. Nice little bar to the side that’s part of the hotel. Continental breakfast was just enough every morning. Room decor was beautiful.

We stayed for 2 nights and the location was fantastic. It made our trip incredibly convenient, and we were able to come back and rest during the day whenever we wanted. By simply turning right after leaving the hotel, we were almost immediately at St. Mark’s Square. In terms of comfort and cleanliness, we initially thought everything was fine. However, on our last morning, I found a bed bug in the bed after waking up, and I believe I was bitten multiple times during my stay. I think this is an issue that should be looked into and addressed to prevent future guests from experiencing the same problem.

The cleaning staff were great, the room seemed quite clean. Breakfast staff were overly busy and somewhat rude at times but for the most part fine. The receptionist Max was knowledgeable. The breakfast was fine and plentiful to get you started on your day. The room A/C didn’t work, nor the bathroom air vent. The hair dryer was functional but quite melted from previous guests. These items combined illustrate how much the staff/management/owner care about their guests. For a three star hotel with no amenities other than location, it is highly overpriced, so I would hope they would put some profit back in the property. We stayed two nights in June so we opened the windows for cool air and ventilation when showering instead of trying to change rooms. Expedia should revisit their establishments and do a better job of vetting for its customers.

Overall, we were very satisfied with this hotel. Front desk staff was professional, polite, courteous and helpful. Cleaning staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good and staff kept the area well organized and maintained. This hotel's location is perfect, especially for the Piazza San Marco area. Close to many amenities. The only drawback we experienced was the lack of air conditioning. It was not working in our room. Otherwise, a great stay at this hotel.

Love the location of the place , had a beautiful apartment two streets away from St Marks Square. Nice simple breakfast was also included, great way to start the morning. We were checking out at 4 am ,to catch an 8am flights back to NY , so 24/7 front desk is also great . Absolutely love our stay in Venice, thanks to the hotel stuff for making it flawless.

Very very old hotel, but well kept, excellent location....5 minute walk to water taxi to train station etc...and 3 minutes to Marco Square. Beakfast was basically toast, croissant and coffee. Front desk not very friendly.

Not sure where you start, not sure where it got the third star from. I got bit by bed bugs, so mattress need to be changed, no fire alarm and one plug socket which was the TV one we used, lucky we had an extension lead. No fire exits and if on 4th floor then you need to take the lift to 2nd floor and walk the rest of the way, shower and bathroom were in good order, the location is perfect as it’s a simple walk from the river so getting in late at night easy way to navigate. A good hotel for a strong solo or mates, this isn’t romantic at all, and solo travellers be careful as the main door was always open so for safety and security I would be mindful. A positive also is breakfast was free and no issues, but the bed bugs 😭😭.

The room that was advertised wasn't the room they gave me. It was very small and my luggage could barely fit. The room was very cold. I asked for heat and was told that they only have heat in September and October. It was 50 degrees and rainy. The breakfast was good. However, I don't plan staying at this hotel again.

The only advantage is the location as it is close to St Mark cathedral. Bad customer service, no one bill man to carry the luggage when we leave, very old room with a weird way to reach it and many uncomfortable stairs to use. No aeration to connecting areas between the rooms and in the breakfast restaurant, at lease they can put in air refreshers. Continental Breakfast is not bad for 3 stars hotel.

Contacted the hotel 4 wks & then again 2 wks in advance about our reservation - they never got back to us. Arrived & they were going to rent us the room, despite it being nearly midnight (but before their deadline to checkin). We paid an additional $125 & they rented it to us. Got bite 10 times by a Mediterranean recluse spider (venomous). Would never stay here again, at $500/a night it was terrible.

I had a wonderful stay at Antico Panda. The staff were kind, friendly, and very helpful throughout my stay. The building is old, but I already knew that when I booked it online, and it was clean and comfortable. The food was fresh and enjoyable as well. The hotel is close to shops, restaurants, and major tourist attractions, so it can get a little noisy late at night and during the day, but nothing too alarming. Also, be prepared to hear the church bells ringing every hour, which personally did not bother me at all.
