This was a very nice and comfortable hotel! The breakfast included in the price was an amazing value with excellent food and variety. Staff was friendly and courteous. The location was convenient to the major landmarks of Victoria. Good bus service options are nearby.

The hotel was clean and comfortable but very dated and in need of a refresh. Parking was good and the included breakfast was very good. Location was good and very walkable to the centre of Victoria.

After paying $330.00 I was extremely disappointed that there was NO available parking on the property so had to park on the street which was inconvenient because I had to remove everything from my car and pack it in due to possible break in. The next morning there was still no parking when I checked then there was but when I was sent to the parking stall someone else was parked in it. I was not the only patron that this happened to. The convenience of the Hotel was great but the lack if parking was not as you needed to move your car in the AM or you would get a ticket ... I would personally think twice about booking this property for that reason alone $330.00 for a room and a possible $100 dollars or so parking ticket is not cool ..

It was a charming old hotel within easy walking distance to the harbour and shopping!

I thought it was a great place to stay. The location was excellent. Close to fisherman's wharf and downtown. The breakfast was good and the option to have it in the tea house was wonderful.

The FCC loor could have been vaccumed a little better. First thing my wife found was various DC irty spots on the floor. I wanted9 a pop and the only pop machine I could find was down in the parking garage and it didn't work so I was unable to get a pop at that time of night. The hotel needs more than one pop machine. I forgot my phone charger at home but the fellow at the front desk supplied me with one even though he had to give me the one from the front desk laptop. Excellent customer service. Having to pay $30 per dog is higher than anywhere else. Also having to pay $18 for parking when there is no free overnight street parking seemed unfair. Customer parking should be free. Breakfast was good but eggs out of a box don't impress me. Waffles where cold. Aside from that it was an ok stay although we both had sore backs from the bed being way to soft.

My only complaint was that the tile floor in the foyer was very cold if you were walking barefoot. Great location.

Always a great stay, located downtown near the waterfront its easy access to everything a tourist could want, comfy bed, easy transaction, and gated parking outside or underground, pretty great accommodation
