Parking safe, room clean, bar attached, staff helpful

The room was clean and bed comfortable but there was a smell in the hallway that was nauseating, not as strong in the rooms. The shower head is low and water pressure low. Both Friday and Saturday the bar/lounge and people on the street were very loud.

The property clean, the staff was helpful and the room was good. This is a old property so it has charm but it also has quirks. The parking in the back is small but adequate. The breakfast was basic but decent. Overall it was a decent stay at a low price. It's right downtown so there is the feel of security but the location is great if you like to be close to the action. It was also only 5 minutes from U of S which is why I was there.

Beautiful historic hotel. The room although small, was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and Winston's English pub ( on site) had amazing food!

I was pleased that the hotel now has secure parking. Felt much more secure in this downtown setting. The room was clean.

We were attending an event at TCU Place so this was perfect in the location. very close to many different options for food. We also ate at the attached paper which was awesome with excellent service there. I appreciated all the security measures they had in place inside the hotel and also in the parking area. Would definitely stay here again.

Lack of ventilation in bath/shower room caused rust and mould on walls, ceiling and fixtures. Pub staff friendly and energetic! Restaurant expensive and far below expectations.

Classy decor, elegant

The facility and staff were good. A hook in the bathroom would have been helpful. Unfortunately, no warm water in our bathroom sink. The noise from the bar patrons and music speakers was unbearable. No peace and quiet until 2:50 AM. The continental breakfast was disappointing. A scavenger hunt to find a coffee mug. The front desk was helpful when there was no more coffee.

Breakfast was very minimal and was lacking. It was highly disappointing. A few cold pastries that had almost ran out by the time we came down for breakfast, juice, coffee, tea,fruits and yogurt.

We stayed at The Senator in the cold weather of March and the heat was perfect, warm and toasty. The staff at the front desk and the cleaning staff went above and beyond to help us. My sister was in the RUH and the family chose the Senator because of the beautiful walk to the Hospital. The Senator made our trip into less of a hospital visit and more a visit of famiy.

The rooms were spacious, clean and very nice. Bed was excellent. Appreciated the gated parking. Perfect location if you want to be in the heart of downtown. Winstons is great!

Small room, but nice. Everything seemed very dated, the elevator, the parking lot gate (u had to call the desk to get in and let them know when u were going out) Wasn't dirty but there was lots of wear, wall outlet was pulled out, one switch didnt work, bathtub had chips. The view was over the parking lot and into the alley. Breakfast was horrible, and does NOT come from on site restraunts, was just store bought muffins and coffee/tea and juice. Location was fantasic

BEWARE THIS WAS CHARGED TO MY CREDIT CARD IN US DOLLARS! It's an older vintage hotel which is fine exceot for the musty mothball smell in the hallway and our room. Staff were great and helpful. I'm not happy this was charged in Us Dollars though

Staff was wonderful. The hotel itself has character. It is the oldest hotel, I believe, and one of the staff members was telling me about its story. 1908 it was built. The hallway is very spacious. Convenient location downtown.
