The room had two queen beds, a living room area, and a big bathroom. The shower had the perfect pressure, which is very important to me. Also, I appreciated the coffee maker in the room. I don't know about your family but I usually am waiting for them to rise and shine. I was able to enjoy a coffee and go sit out on the deck. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you think the parking may be a problem. It is not. The location is great for dining out, going for walks, shopping and for the nightlife (if you partake). If you like character hotels, this is the one. I will stay there again.

Had a two night stay in July 2026. The hotel is an older property with classic charm. It does have that older building smell, but it did not bother us. The rooms we had were small but functional and fine for our stay. The first room (118) had a mattress that sagged and the A/C did not work on the second day which saw us move to a different room (207) for the second night. That room had a good mattress and good A/C. The staff were very accommodating and immediately got us the second room and the next morning looked into repairing the A/C in the first room. The other point to consider is the street people lingering outside, but it's really not too bad and you see this in every downtown. Those are the downsides here. The good part of this hotel is it's affordable price, central location, helpful staff, free breakfast (coffee, fruit and muffins, but it's free), secure parking, outside deck, and the pub. We found it suitable for a short weekend stay and would stay here again.

I ordered and prepaid 1 room for Saturday night with 2 queen beds, cause there were 2 people sleeping in the same room, but the wanted their own bed, cause they are not in a relation, just colleagues When they arrived there was only 1 room left with a single twin bed!!!! They booked and payed out of their own pocket a second room !! Not happy

What a wonderfully place to stay. It is not in the greatest part of town but they go above and beyond to make sure your safe and feel it from checkin, to your rooms to parking. Such a beautiful place inside. A little musty in the rooms but it’s an old hotel and the staff friendliness and helpfulness is top notch. We will definitely be back!

Terrible stay - not clean or well maintained, attached to a lively bar and people outside my window drunk and loud all night , I got stuck in elevator it broke, the ceiling above me sounded like the people were gonna fall through it- this hotel needs a full overhaul would not stay here again

Nice stay in a well maintained heritage hotel. Our room was large and the bed was comfortable, bathroom was updated and clean. Staff are friendly and the hotel is makes a comfortable stay. The location is great, right downtown close to all amenities. Being downtown there is the issue of homeless people everywhere but the hotel has done many provocative things to add safety and make it feel secure. Highly recommended this hotel for business travel or couples due to location. Family may want to avoid due to lack of amenities from the hotel and homelessness situation making outside a little rough.

It is a neat older hotel. The beds were comfortable and the staff very friendly. The only drawback was in todays use of technology there were not enough plug ins and i had to buy a power bar to accommodate our phones watches and hearing aids

I really enjoyed my stay, the room was nice and clean, the AC worked and it was quite quiet for being downtown. The bar has great beer on tap and the morning breakfast room is charming.

Location was good in that it is close to a lot of places downtown (good dining options). Unfortunately we found the bed very uncomfortable as it seemed it was broken in the middle. Generally clean room but very dated. Floor felt like it was uneven in the hallway to the bathroom. Bathroom had two separate faucets for hot and cold, only hot was functional. Guests should know breakfast is muffins, danishes, yogurt and juice; we expected more from a continental breakfast (maybe some toast and hard boiled eggs?)

Would stay again, over all convenient and maintained but needs some TLC.

Good choice to stay in the heart of Saskatchewan.

Clean rooms and located close to the mall.

Our room was clean and relaxing for a night’s stay. We enjoyed a meal at the restaurant. It was quiet. The Hotel had an old time charm. The only issue was tight parking, but we’re traveling in a large pickup truck up truck. We also had to walk several blocks for our dog to find grass. So, if you are traveling in a small vehicle without a dog, you will be fine.
