Great location, close to almost everywhere including the river shore. All staffs are really helpful and friendly. The only pity is the free breakfast seems a little too lean. Anyhow it’s definitely worth of the price you paid!!

It’s accessible because it near the town Centre. The ambiance was good, its antique, well maintained & clean. The staffs were helpful except when we asked about the AC because the room was a bit warm & they can’t do anything about it. The breakfast was good but I was expecting protein like egg & it’s was the same everyday. I was looking for a variety.

We had a nice stay here. The location is great and the place was clean. The bathrooms are oddly missing towel hooks to hang up the towels though. Despite the warnings, I was not worried about the parking situation as the man who checked us in assured us they move the cars if necessary. But then once it was time for us to leave another staff was at the front who was clearly uncomfortable with moving the cars. With her assistance, or lack there of, it basically took us 20 minutes longer to leave for our event which made us late. Every other staff member we encountered there was lovely though.

My room was not ready well over the 4pm check in. I wasnt able to check in until 4:30. I had an event i needed to get ready for that started at 5:30. This was not ideal. Multiple other people were checked in ahead of me, their rooms were ready - lucky them. If it wasn't so conveniently located and cheaper than most other hotels, I wouldn't book here all the time. Fortunately the front desk lady was just as frustrated as I was and very apologetic. Not that it was her fault though.

This hotel really took us back in time. The property is well maintained and the restaurants were exceptional.

3 night stay - beds are supremely comfortable. Dennis and the other front desk and clean up staff were very helpful especially because we had to early check-in. Breakfast covers the important carb food groups. Unfortunately, no microwave to heat up any leftovers you’ve ordered. Hotel is more than a century old and holds up nicely - lots of character in the building.

Parking sucks

Breakfast was very minimal. A microwave to warm a muffin would be much appreciated. Very strong smell in hallways. Not a bad odor but so strong it made it unpleasant. A much softer scent would be less irritating.

Check in was quick and parking was provided. The rooms are small and not soundproof. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Smart tv in room so no cable available. Noisy area with car alarms sounding through the night and people yelling outside. Decent continental breakfast.

The staff were amazingly helpful, friendly, and lovely. The antique bones of the hotel are great, including touches like exposed brick in the bathroom; this could be a very nice boutique hotel - and it still is nice- but it needs a little updating and TLC at this point (and ideally not a noisy boozy smelling pub attached, but to each their own I guess; i get that Winston’s is considered an epic staple in Saskatoon). Some noise proofing from the busy downtown street would help a lot too. Overall it had character and charm, met our needs well, was pet friendly and safe, well located downtown close to the river, and we very much enjoyed our stay.

Heart of downtown, next to the mall and coors event centre. Location is amazing. Building is an older character building and the rooms are really spacious. Hallways too! We really enjoyed this hotel. Small but nice continental breakfast, everything was clean, very friendly and helpful staff, plus comfy beds. The adjacent pub was pretty decent as well!

Great location for our needs - has a great pub next door and continental breakfast was easy and adequate.

Showed up after check in time. Was told we would have to wait for our room to be cleaned before we could check in, were told some people had been waiting 3 hours to get into their room. Was told there was free parking. Parking lot was extremely small and full. Room had stained carpets, they used a flat sheet in place of a fitted sheet and the mattress was all stained. Bright security light shining through the window all night.

The man who logged us in was very helpful and friendly. It is historical building with a lot of charm. Location was very convenient to explore the city. We liked the pub.
