It was all good, the only thing was the bedsheets was so Crunchy and I couldn’t sleep properly. Because of that I was moving too much and my wife was not able to sleep well too.

Stay here often - always exceptional

Everything was great except we asked for a higher floor in advance, but got the lowest floor possible - on the third floor out of 15, just above the restaurant.

Wonderful stay at this pet friendly hotel in Nanaimo! The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and it is perfectly located in downtown to shops, restaurants, the harbor, and the park. Highly recommended!

Awesome room and great view.

Everything about the hotel is very positive. Only shortcoming was the lack of drawers to put clothes in. We had a 6-night stay. It might be advisable to a small dresser to those rooms used for longer stays.

Excellent place to stay in Nanaimo with breathtaking views of the harbour. Wonderful staff and hotel is very close to interesting shops and restaurants.

I've stayed at Coast Bastion numerous times. Never disappointing. Staff is fantastic and rooms are very comfortable and clean. Minnoz restaurant is an added gem.

Wonderful view, clean room curteous staff. Special touch; they brought us a desert plate with strawberries and nanaimo bars.

Great hotel in a great area of the city. Once you figure out parking, it was great. staff were amazing.

Very nice stay, staff were helpful and friendly. Parking on site is good safe and convenient. Did not eat at the attached restaurant however it looked clean and good. Would recommend this hotel for its location, amenities and price for value.
