Excellent hotel, with very friendly staff - especially the lady who served me dinner my first night. I forget her name. The hotel was a bit hard to find at first, but once I got there I realised there's a metro stop just a 2 min walk away. It's only one stop from the old town then. Highly recommend this place.

Parking is underground and the ramps are very tight. There is no wheelchair parking space outside the hotel and you have to go down many floors to find an accessible space. Bar staff were lovely and the bar stayed open late to offer coffee etc.

The beds are really confortable. The swimming pool is clean and beautiful. All staff were kind. My favourite staff were the housekeeping, always perfect.

The hotel is in a good location, with secure car park if you are arriving from the ferry. There is a metro station a few minutes walk from the hotel which brings you to the city centre just one stop away. The hotel has a swimming pool and outdoor area which is great.

It may have happened only to me though the air condition on the ceiling flooded during the night and all my belongings soaked. The staffs were not as serious as I was. Disappointed

Location not suitable for main attractions too far away.

Only stayed one night but it looked like a nice hotel to stay for several days. Only slight drawback was the location which is a bit of a walk out of town up a steep hill. Room was clean and comfortable, nice shower. Breakfast excellent and reception staff very friendly and helpful.

The pictures of this hotel are extremely misleading, make sure you read the details. You have to pay 20euros per person for the gym and indoor pool. U17s are not permitted to use the indoor pool. The restaurant has bad reviews so we didn’t risk wasting more money around this hotel. The first room we entered was extremely noisy, they have hard laminated flooring so you can hear the rooms above. There is also no sound proofing throughout the hotel, you can clearly hear the toilet flush from next door and above if on the lower floors.

This was my 4 th stay at this hotel. It is convenient and easily located. Parking is good and the metro is nearby. The staff are terrific and helpful. The lobby area and restaurant are very modern and nice looking. I highly recommend it.

We came saturday instead of wednesday. Check-inn went fast, frontdesk employee was very kind and helped with getting a taxi.

Secure undergroung parking eas excellent. This has 2 entrances - avoid the one that is accessed from small back streets as it was an unnearving drive to get to.

Everything has hidden fees, the pool, gym, parking, etc. There is an extra for everything and anything ! The site says they speak english and french, they do not speak French and hardly speak English. All the hidden fees start a 20 euros and more ! The rooms are very pricy and are very small. Never again will I go to Occidental Bilbao…

A little out of town and on a relatively steep hill. However, there is a metro station only 200m away which gives easy access to the city. Next to a main road and so there was regular road noise at night. The pool was shut. Staff were efficient and friendly. The room was spacious and clean. A large sitting area on the ground floor to enjoy a drink from the bar.
