We loved the size of the room and the bathroom, and everything was very clean. We especially loved the cool temp of the pool water - very refreshing on a hot day. The proximity to the Metro station was a big plus for us. The restaurant staff were always friendly and obliging in filling our water bottles with ice. :)

We thought the hotel was beautiful and in a fantastic location. The rooms had every amenity we could want and were very comfortable. We were very happy with our connecting rooms as a family of four. I think only that perhaps there could be a communal area or bar in the evenings after the pool is closed.

What an incredible stay at Hotel d’Angleterre in Lausanne. From the moment I arrived, the experience was exceptional. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean throughout my entire stay, and perfectly positioned with breathtaking views across Lake Geneva and the Alps - truly stunning scenery to wake up to every day. A very special thank you to Mouna, who was outstanding. Her positive attitude, kindness, helpful support, and excellent service made such a difference to my stay. Nothing was too much trouble, and her warm guidance and directions were so appreciated. She is a real credit to the hotel. I also thoroughly enjoyed the wellness facilities - the sauna, hammam, and outdoor swimming pool were lovely, refreshing, and the perfect way to relax after work. Dining at L’Accademia restaurant was another highlight. The food was excellent, the service attentive and welcoming, and every meal was a pleasure. As I was attending EHL for work, it was wonderful to discover that Hotel d’Angleterre was actually the very first EHL hotel - wow, what amazing history. That made the stay even more special, and I am so glad I chose this hotel. The location was also ideal, with the metro only a short walk away, making it easy and accessible to travel around Lausanne during my stay. Thank you to the whole team for such a memorable stay. I would highly recommend Hotel d’Angleterre to anyone visiting Lausanne and very much hope to return again soon.

Beautiful hotel and grounds. Lovely pool area and superb location. Friendly and helpful staff. Close to the lake and restaurants. My only slightly negative comments are that breakfast is very expensive at 39 CHF and there are some loose and broken floor tiles around by the pool and some other outside areas which need attention. The sun loungers would also benefit from having cushions on them. We would definitely stay again and overall I can recommend this superb hotel.

We had really a great stay. The room was newly renovated with big bathroom and terrasse. The pool area is quiet and relaxing. Everyone very friendly. Great location at the lake and 3 min walk to the metro.
