It was a clean, nicely kept hotel. The rooftop bar was good to head to in the evening. Facilities in surrounding area are limited and quite a walk to the key tourist places. Asking questions of the hotel staff was not great at all. Limited answers despite trying to gain an insight into specific places.

Loved the hotel, relatively easy parking for Cologne. Walking distance to everything downtown. Free GOOD Coffee 24/7, which is basically the most important need I have. If there’s one thing, the elevators are a little suspect😅. But that’s probably due to retrofitting them into an antique building. I will be staying there again next year when I come back.

The hotel is a beautiful old water tower.The bed is really comfortable.We didnt have breakfast at the hotel

Very nice hotel. We loved it and miss now that we are in another hotel with a much lower standard and much higher costs! The breakfast restaurant is heavenly!

An absolute gem in the heart of Cologne, quite possibly the most unique hotel in the city, staff & facilities are amazing.

No customer service to help with suitcases, checking in to our room, no security in the building, anyone can walk in off the street, take the lift or stairs to any floor. Someone knocked on our door when we opened the door some drunk young guy pushed in to enter our room however my wife pushed him out and closed the door, when we complained they didn’t know what to do. I asked them to check the security cameras on that floor, no cameras anywhere other than the reception. They apologised and said they had a function on that evening so could have been anyone wondering through the hotel. There are homeless, drunk and drugged people around the block with empty and broken bottles on the footpath. The reason we booked this hotel is it had a Hilton brand, unfortunately was more like a 3 star motel. I will not stay here again and do no recommend it.

I stayed at 8th floor and during checkin my key card didnt work and had to go reception twice. During breakfast , the lady couldnt find my name and had to wait long. But it was top of the list. There was no amenities in the room accept towels. Looks like the room was not ready. Overall my experience was poor

Tout était parfait sauf les ascenseurs. À cause du bar qui semble être très populaire en ville, il y avait beaucoup de monde qui voyageait et c’était loin d’être efficace. Un ascenseur dédié au bar devrait être installé et un autre juste pour les clients de l’hôtel. Sinon, tout le reste était parfait.

Not a comfortable place. 11 floors 2 tiny lifts one out of order the whole time. No restaurant despite saying so on website. The bar has no comfortable seating nothing to lean on. The view is not amazing either. We had to have some bar food as we couldn’t get out to the town due to a minor injury so could not get a meal at all that night. when we arrived at 10 pm we had to walk quite a distance to McDonald’s to get something! Horrendous place.

Used to be an amazing Hotel. Now pretty much outdated. My room needed a paint job. Furniture in the room slightly below average.

Weekend stay with my mum & daughter, the suite was really massive & clean. I couldn’t have asked for more in a hotel room, when it came to space. I’d defo return back to this hotel in the future

Overall, hotel was pretty nice. Some of the customer service was good, some not so much. Room smelled of drains and after I notified the staff, they just sprayed the whole room with disinfectant, so it smelled like toilet cleaner instead. Spa was nice. Room was cosy. Great views from the bar. But the price was a bit too much for the stay.

Great stay in a world class Hilton property. My only complaint was their lack of free service on NYE for the guests. The parties were all sold out but luckily we made other plans for our celebrations!

Unique hotel in a converted water tower. Comfortable rooms and excellent breakfast service.

Great bed, comfortable. Very quiet. Very limited TV channels. On site food very limited and not attractive. Nice to offer glühwine at Christmas time

The hotel building is beautiful and makes use of an old water tower. The rooms were very spacious and luxurious, and the beds were very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially Karim who helped us check in and gave us information and recommendations. 10/10

A beautiful building directly opposite an aqua park and a short 10 minute walk to Neuplatz. The area immediately outside was quiet. Nice spacious room (king junior suite on 3rd floor) with a comfy bed and a view of the aqua park. The lighting level of the room was a little low for my preference, even with all lights and lamps switched on. The bed was comfy but I did later notice that the quilt had a stain on it. One day, I was only left 1 bath towel. I could not get the phone in my room to work. The breakfast was very disappointing. I went once at 09:30 and the buffet items had all but been taken so had to wait for replenishments. I opted for a more expensive hot breakfast (31 euros) but nobody came to take my order. The room service menu was disappointing, especially given that the only other dining option was bar snacks in the rooftop bar. I did eat there one evening and found that the service was good, and whilst a restricted menu, the food was hot and delicious, and I enjoyed a cocktail. There was often only one receptionist at the desk so you tended to have to wait to ask a simple question. They were professional and helpful though. The lobby was compact but visually impressive. The spa (5th floor) was disappointing in that there were no staff, no lockers or changing rooms. There was a nice relaxation area with loungers and a nice, clean, spacious sauna. There was no steam room. Cologne is a beautiful, friendly city.
