Everything was good except for the following. On our first night we noticed that our credit card was missing. We just thought we lost it while shopping. So we placed a hold on our credit card. The following morning we left the hotel for the day and when we returned in the evening we got a call from the front desk. They said they found our credit card in our room. My thought is, if my credit card was found in my room, why didn’t they just leave it in my room or on top of our bed. But they took the card and held it at the desk? Why? We still had 2 more nights to spend there. And we never reported to them our card was lost. Just that weird feeling you get. Is this an Italy thing? I don’t know…just didn’t like it

Quiet property near train station on the good/safer side of it. Note there are approx 6 steps to carry luggage up to the smallest elevator I have seen. It works but very small even for European standards. Breakfast was excellent and cost 14 euro pp. American coffee was excellent. My room had a small balcony. The door was right off the bathroom. During the day you could not see in. At night I stood outside and could see everything in the bathroom. Took a shower in the dark so no one could watch me. The door needs a privacy screen-not what is on that door! The door is mirrored but you can see inside at night. AC works well. Overall a really nice property that I would stay at again.

Just stayed at this hotel. If you are thinking about this hotel- dont do it. The price was not worth the quality. We stayed for 3 nights, the beds were like sleeping on the sidewalk- hard as a rock. The front staffs are NOT friendly at all! We checked in early, when we came back the receptionist said we got an upgrade but I believe it was very much a downgrade and they were trying to make is sound like we hit the lottery. If you are assigned to any of these rooms, 309/10/11, request to change. They are like being in the attic and very tight. We wanted to request a change but was too afraid to mention it considering how unfriendly they were and didn't want to cause any issue. The only good thing about this hotel was close location to the train terminal.

Super quiet rooms. Very nice hotel. 8 min walk to the metro and main train station. Grocery store 1 block over. Perfect location to stay for getting around.

Great stay overall. A/C had issues two of the four nights. Very good location

The staff was amazing. The room was almost clean but small spot of dust. Bed was really nice and I had a good sleep. I was traveling with my wife and daughter and it felt very safe. We had a balcony and it was an amazing view from 4th floor. The bottom side was our neighbor was smoking all the time. The area was perfect and close to rome terminal central station.

The room was tidy and the cleaners done a great job of tidying up every day. Good location for exploring Rome. However main issue was that during our stay on one night another guest managed to walk into our room using a keycard as we were getting ready for bed, the staff checked our door and said that everything was working fine, but this did not help as we still felt unsafe and did not feel like our concerns were acknowledged, we did not feel very comfortable leaving our belongings there for the rest of our trip.

Always a pleasure staying at the Alpi when we’re in Rome. It’s so well located, clean and modern plus of course, the staff are wonderful

Cleaning lady tried coming in my room to replace towels while I was in the shower and wouldn’t leave until I got out of the shower, let her in to place new towels and then get back in once she left. Also almost positive I got double charged on their city tax, paid at checkout for something and then got a phone call saying I never paid the tax. Hmmm funny how you didn’t collect when I left isn’t it…

Convenient location near Termini Station. Nicely appointed rooms and friendly staff. 2nd stay in two years. Would stay here again.

We chose this place bc it was a 5 min walk to train station. Super friendly service and the neighborhood was safe with many dining options. Room was pretty small but it is what it is. We felt safe here as 2 woman. I wish they had some food options in the hotel but it’s a great place.

Clean and spacious room with balcony and high ceiling. Super nice staff at the reception counter. We loved our stay here. Walkable from Termini station and Castro Pretorio metro station. There are also many restaurant nearby. However there was a couple of minor issues. Balcony door was impossible to open, and the plug for the bath tub did not function well - making it difficult to use the spa bath. As it was a short stay (1 night) we just ignored it, and enjoyed the other qualities of the nice hotel room.

We enjoyed the last night of honeymoon trip at Hotel Alpi! We love the entire staff there!

The room was spotlessly clean and was made up every day by the friendly staff, who also gave food recommendations as well which were all lovely especially the 100 mr tiramisu. Would definitely stay again and recommend to as well.

Era un hotel compatto e confortevole. Vorrei richiedere i seguenti miglioramenti per rendere il mio soggiorno ancora più confortevole. - Si prega di ridurre la pressione dell'acqua del rubinetto... l'acqua è forte e schizza ovunque. Anche non usare acqua inutilmente fa parte degli Obiettivi di Sviluppo Sostenibile. - Il bagno è elegante, ma l'apertura è ampia e l'area circostante si allaga. I bagni richiedono un uso attento, quindi sono anche adatti a chi soffre di stress. Come luogo per alleviare lo stress, sono necessarie alcune misure antistress. Non sono riuscito a capire come usare la cassaforte. Le istruzioni erano piccole e difficili da capire. Esistono casseforti più facili da usare, quindi vi prego di sostituirle con altre più facili da usare. I gradini sul pavimento sono scomodi. La struttura ha bisogno di essere ristrutturata per migliorare questo aspetto, quindi per il momento sarà necessaria una soluzione. È stato sufficiente per il mio ultimo soggiorno in Italia. Grazie!

The location is an easy walking distance from the main train terminal, two subway lines, and tour bus stops. Boutique style rooms in a classical historic building. Very nice place to stay.
