Very clean, modern and beds so comfy. Recommend.

Booked a suite but that level was being renovated so they gave me a con joining rooms.

Had a fine stay. This is a remodeled old hotel. Found it to be clean and comfortable.

Rooms were clean, staff was friendly. Outdoor parking lot was having construction but everything was tidy. Has breakfast and also pizza on the lung side, both were good. Great location. Very central. We would stay there again.

I stayed there in a pinch when the airport shutdown and found everything satisfactory. Very nice front desk staff.

Great place to stay with the family overall great stay, parking can be tight if you have a pickup truck, other then that everything was perfect!

The room was nicely laid out, kept up-to-date and comfortable. My issues pertain to a few things which I believe can be easily remedied. 1) The fan on the heat A/C unit continued to run (albeit, more quietly) which was annoying as it was a bit loud. 2) Would be nice to have semi-sheer curtains under the mail curtains as the room faces west and was super bright and warm but closing the curtains made the room too dark. 3) There was not one vegan option on the dinner menu. I would expect at least one appetizer and one main meal option. 4) They also didn't offer any plant-based milk (oat, soy) for tea/coffee/oatmeal. For the last two items, in today's climate, these are not unreasonable request. I want to say 'get with the times'!

The staff are terrific! The hotel is quiet and parking is convenient

We stayed with our two kids for a staycation weekend in the city. We were very pleasantly surprised by the Birchwood. It is well maintained, and the staff are very friendly. Free parking was nice. There are restaurants within walking distance. Close to Assiniboine Park. Comfy beds, spacious rooms, nice bathrooms, mini fridge, Keurig. But the best part was the pool area. There is a really fun indoor playground, ping pong table, foosball table, kiddy pool, regular pool, and hot tub. We had a blast and would definitely go back!

Good service from maintenance when we didn’t have any ac in the room and the temperature was uncomfortably warm.
