The rooms are a great price compared to others in the area. It is a 1 block walk to the boardwalk and beach which is great.

The only thing I dislike was the stains on the carpet, on the chair and on the runner at the foot of the bed. Other than that, it was a great place.

Disappointed they are lacking everything not what is in photos.

I didn’t like anything about this hotel. It is very filthy and has a bad smell. They need to remove the dirty carpet they have through out the building. Rooms have a musty smell. The property needs a major upgrade. Area not safe and have drug user hanging around the property. Thank goodness I always take my own cleaning supplies no matter which hotel I stay in.

It’s was horrible. It smell horrible in the halls and rooms. Not a safe area. Surround by high drug addicts. Filthy carpets, bugs in the room, and need to be upgraded. Definitely worth less than $220 per night.

Check in and check out or simple. There were no hidden fees. I asked for a late check out and they gave me one with no hassle. It was a great price for an overnight stay.

Quick check in. Very close to boardwalk and beach. Free parking!

Love this hotel

My family stood one night because my daughter had a dance competition in the area. Our room was on the 2nd floor, the hallway and room smelled like mairijuana. There were people who were arguing at 12am up to 2am. Parking wasn't bad. Room wasn't bad, except the bathroom. It wasn't cleaned. the front lobby staff were good though.

Stay wasn’t bad had drug users outside of room. That was near the poolside entrance.

The staff was helpul . The rooms need to be updated , painted, different bedding. Mattress was excellent. We thought the pool was open, it was drained and being worked on. There were alot of homeless people around and we understand that is out of their control. The Cafe next door was a grand plus. Not sure if I would return.

Howard Johnson is a hidden gem in Atlantic City.mainly because of the super helpful staff and clean building.they are soon to open the pool.the restaurant within has not so good breakfast food,it seems to be rushed and not fresh.the cashier is not friendly at all.it is clean and always crowded.the hotel price is very reasonable.I have stayed here many times and will again.

The carpet was moist and the room smelled like mold . However the staff is very friendly and it’s close to food and casino’s.

Restaurant closed too early. Wasn’t the cleanest,my tv stand was broken needs to be updated

The area is a little shady but no problems. I wouldn't walk alone at night unless there was another person or group. Pool wasn't opened. Had to ask for a mini fridge which they quickly gave us. No coffee pot in the room. No shuttle to the Boardwalk. Room was small for 4 adults
