Staff at the front desk: some people were helpful, others really need training, not helpful at all.

A nice old style hotel downtown. The beds where comfortable and it was quiet.

The room was the bare minimum, with an awful view (a badly decayed wall), the bathroom was very poorly illuminated, the phone was mute, the AC did not work properly, the mini bar was loose, when we opend the door it comes with it, and no amenities, just a bed, a table, and a couple of chairs. The only positive point of this hotel was the heated pool and the area around it. I won't come back to it, despite the reasonable price.

Plaza são Rafael used to be a high standard hotel in Porto Alegre. It is sad and disappointing to see that the rooms are very outdated. AC doesn't work well, WiFi is very spotty, tv is not smart, it is very small and has terrible reception of the few channels available. It seems the cleaning standards are lacking I was in a non smoking room but there was a cigarette butt sitting on the window during my whole stay. Elevators are noisy and old and the breakfast is good but not near impressive as it used to be. I had a capeletti soup from the restaurant and it was tottaly bland.

Friendly staff at reception made us feel welcome. Rooms are ok in need of updating. Nice breakfast.

Good hotel

There were no bell boy to take my luggage upstairs to the my bedroom. I had two large Samsonite bags plus hand luggage, and I had to do it myself with an airport trolley. It seems that all bell boys have been fired during the pandemia lockdown and new ones have not hired yet. It caused me a lot of trouble.

Hi the hotel is getting old need a restauration asap. The people on the parking was a mess when a lot of people were leving at the same time. Wasn't prepare for the lot of occupancy during COPA AMERICA and they should be as this is a know event.

Beds extremely hard, not enough towel, ac doesn’t work very well, old carpet.
