Great hotel

Enjoyed our stay, would gladly go back.

Loved the room and Mary at check-in, great recommendation for a cortado from the concierge Had a late lunch in the restaurant food was great, service not so much. Treated with indifference and a server opened the front door, she saw my reaction and left both doors propped open anyways. It was a cold rainy day. I mentioned it to my server and he said, “oh, it’s hot in here” Not impressed

First rate hotel in every way. A great choice..

We had a bad view and they changed our room no problem. However, we booked months in advance. Should have had top notch room first.

Nice clean room, great views over the public gardens, convenient parking under the hotel, very helpful staff.

"Welcome" Staff were AMAZING! Loved our room (Executive King?), large, great amenities, wonderful bed. Onsite restaurant twice for breakfast - first time food and service were great, second time the staff appeared overwhelmed, experienced a long wait and the restaurant was not busy, with less than 1/3 tables occupied. Close to sites, great nearby restaurants. Would recommend and return.

Clean premium experience. Petite rooms the perfect size for a solo trip or with a couple. Good comfortable bedding and comfortable stay.

Great location

Great stay in downtown Halifax. Beds were very comfortable. Room was clean. Our AC stopped working as well on our second night (we run hot at night) but otherwise enjoyed our stay and would recommend. Room service breakfast was delicious.

Lovely stay. An historic hotel with a good restaurant. Really appreciated the free laundry facilities.

This a heritage hotel and the rooms are what you expect to see with that. Very clean & staff are very helpful. It’s a bit of a walk to the harbour but close to parks & shops.

This is an old hotel with some improvements made. However I did not expect individual air conditioning for the price we paid. It was loud. You would expect that in a motel!

Lord Nelson Hotel & Suites was exceptional, clean, quiet, and unique. Staff were very helpful & friendly. Rooms were amazing with service everyday to replenish water, coffee/tea and towels. Easy access to downtown and the public gardens across the street were amazing. Parking was easy and accessible.
