Check-in process very slow, long line and agent just chatting with customers… Oldish building, needs a facelift. Reserved ‘a room with view’ - no view, absolute waste of money.

We loved this hotel, can't complain about anything!! Would definately stay there again if we were in Tampere

Delicious breakfast, professional service, perfect walkable location

The breakfast buffet was great! The sauna and pool is being remodeled so unfortunately I couldn't use them. The bed was comfortable but the rooms are very dated. Lots of wear and tear. The hairdryer is junk and would take a long hour to dry my hair. Staff in the restaurant for dinner was very inattentive, worst customer service..I had to go ask for a refill and ask for my check.

Great location and friendly staff.

Lovely location and the staff were extremely nice and helpful. The shelving was hot due to the fridge in the cupboard. The biggest downside was no aircon in the rooms - temperatures day and night of 30C .

A nice hotel in a great location! As others have stated, the rooms could use some updating, but overall the place was clean, beds comfortable and in an excellent location. Our only small annoyances were the small bathroom (but how much time does one spend there anyway), the fact that the cleaning staff did not take out the trash when they made up the room while we were out and the amount of people at breakfast (We were provided trays when we asked to take food to our room, as trying to still stay covid safe, so points for that!). Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The pool area was nice and quiet for an evening swim and quire relaxing. A nice to have for sure! We would stay here again.

Paid for river view room (300/night) and the room was comparable to a cheap motor lodge. Windows were extremely dirty defeating the purpose of a room with a view. Floor was beat/scratched up really badly and the bedding was horrible; old beds and a single very old pillow on each bed. Buffet was the same buffet they have at every Scandic I've stayed at in Finland. Would not stay here again.

Nice location, good stay. At Breakfast, simple management is needed so that dozens of croissants don’t become flattened to nothing in the container used for them.

No proper lounge area. Previous lounge area now given over to the restaurant. Pillows like marshmellows. Small rooms and not luxurious given the price. City centre location is excellent.

The service was always very helpful during my stay and I had a lovely meal in the restaurant on my first night (which was great after a long day of travelling). The room was OK although the shower wasn't very powerful. I think it would be Ok for a short stay.

All employees were really nice and professional. The breakfast had a lot of variety and the food was really good.

Well the check inn experience was horrible, the receptionist was not welcoming at all, and we felt that both of us, pretty rude encounter. So you can imagine the first encounter with the hotel that made us be feeling we have definitely made the wrong choice regarding the hotel. However we had a really nice experience with a Trainee person the next day at the reception, she should teach those some manners.

The interior of the hotel is outdated, so don't expect anything fancy. However, as with most hotels in Finland, you will get a clean room, a hearty breakfast and good service. I didn't have the time to try the hotel pool or sauna.

Well situated hotel, but very tired and in need of refurbishment. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast room was so badly lit it was difficult to see where everything was.

The room was very quiet and clean. However, it was also small and a bit crowded and it was a bit tricky to get past the first bed to the work desk. Service staff was very friendly and the breakfast buffet was wonderful with great variety.
