Great stay as always! We have stayed here many times over the last 9 years and we keep coming back. It’s a lovely hotel, nicely furnished rooms, always spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds. Friendly staff and a delicious breakfast too. It’s so close to Stratford that you can just park the car up and literally cross the road and you’re at the river, theatre, shops, pubs, restaurants and museums. We would highly recommend a stay at the Swans Nest Hotel 😊

Room smelt of damp and the breakfast that was served on Saturday morning was cold. Sunday morning my wife asked for toast with her breakfast and it never came.

The reception staff were lovely, however, the hotel furnishings are very tired. Pillow cases were marked with what looked like mascara and a bright green substance, carpets and chairs worn looking, and catches broken on the windows so not secure. House keeping cleared my room and took away my personal belongings (before 11am) whilst I was out for a morning walk without checking if I had checked out.

Lovely room and comfy bed with all amenities. Close to walk everywhere. Staff lovely. Bar area and good food.

Staff excellent. Only downsides were due to other circumstances. Distance from park to reception due to work, and lack of toaster but toast supplied by kitchen. Pointed out poor drainage in shower (room 15)

Great location

Room ok tv not working so well. Staff did check and got maintenance to see it. They didn't do anything. Less than half channels watchable. Couldn't get BBC1 up at all . Not had any issue on previous visits. Receptionist on arrival was good our room was ready despite us being early. Like the location and convenience of this hotel would still use again.

Clean room, friendly staff and great bar and location

When checking in was given a room that hadn't been cleaned from last occupant, so had to return to reception and was given key to alternative room. Box of chocs received as compensation for inconvenience. Heating controls in some rooms not very good - of the 3 rooms 2 were far too hot and couldn't be cooled down.

A very nice place, very central. We have a fantastic room, very comfortable and clean. Staff were very friendly and restaurant and bar we cosy and of a good quality

Most of the hotel was great. Mattress was very uncomfortable

Lovely room, didn’t have bfast there. Good parking available but note we checked in around 5pm and had the last space! There is a charge of £10 which may irritate some! Nice atmosphere in the bar area (called the Bear) 10% of drinks for residents appreciated. An excellent location within easy walking distance of the town centre, pubs and restaurants etc - would recommend and return.
