Oh I I come with my 2 year old boy fo weekend stays as I love the hotel staff location etc but I had an adult stay I had people in the next room banging all night loud tv and all sorts of horrible noises all night untill 4-5 am my baby was finding it hard to sleep also, I didn’t go to reception as I had my 2 year old with me and didn’t want to cause any situations, very upset it totally ruined my weekend with my son

We had a lovely time staff was so helpful and the wheelchair accessibility was better than some hotels only problem no lift so my partner had to sit on her own for breakfast but staff was so helpful as I went upstairs for breakfast buffet we would definitely book here again if ever down basildon

Excellent hotel and I will definitely be staying there again. All the staff were helpful. The receptionists were really welcoming and helpful particularly Karen and Claire. We Used room service and had a really polite and helpful young man called Kallum who was patient with me when I got a bit flustered. Also Simone was a happy cheerful face in the morning, she made you feel like you were a regular by greeting you so warmly. The facilities were excellent, everywhere was clean and the room we had was lovely. Nice clean bathroom and really comfortable beds. The hotel definitely deserves the 5 stars and I highly recommend it.

The room was great, one of the best holiday Inns I have stayed at. The cleaning staff and reception staff were really helpful and overall I enjoyed my stay. The only downsides I would say are that the bathroom is a little dated compared to the rest of the room and parking was a bit expensive.

Clean and tidy room. Bar was a bit loud and busy.

Good. But cleaner promised to change bedsheets when told but it wasn't changed.

The staff were very accommodating even when we were early, they managed to sort out a spotless room with 3 double beds, and was lovely and spacious. The downside is the expensive parking £24 for 2 days. Not sure why it's not free. It's on a retail park.

No support I explained I couldn’t stay due to work And I asked change of date or refund but no staff was able to help

Pros: Room was clean and staff were very nice. Cons: Had to pay £8.50 for parking which we didn’t realise in advance and the bed was hard, so not a great nights sleep unfortunately.

We had a wonderful stay at Holiday Inn Basildon thanks to the very friendly staff. The room was much bigger as we expected, nice, comfortable and very clean.

Lovely staff, very welcoming upon arrival and throughout our stay. Breakfast was fantastic and the bar was excellent too. All of these elements compensated for the dated rooms, which despite being dated were absolutely spotless in terms of cleanliness. This isn’t the first time I’ve stayed and will definitely return.
