Great hospitality, as soon you walk in to the front desk. They where welcoming us and letting us now the amenities they had to offer. Ask us what we liked to do for fun, then gave us guide list of great events and things to do for the evening.

It was super comfy, clean and the staff were so friendly. The only things that were a bummer was that the handicap rooms were so far away from the front and the sink was too high for a person in a wheelchair. Will be back for sure.

Place is totally run down, sketchy people hanging around, no breakfast, pool area dirty, yacuzzi closed, not even a fridge or microwave in rooms, no ice vending machine, no laundry. Absolutely disappointing.

This is a nice hotel BUT there are some issues. The bedding was nice and clean and the mattress was very firm and comfortable. The bath towels and washcloths screamed "DO NOT STEAL!" thin and rough The room was immaculate and everything worked. It can be a little loud as the property is on the East ramp of Van Nuys airport. Didn't bother me one bit but if you are a light sleeper, ask for a room facing Valjean. If you're a plane spotter, you'll like this place. The only defect in the room was a scuff in the tub. The restaurant and bar are not open. I guess this is a result of the pandemic. it's not particularly walkable for food options. There is Beeps (a Valley landmark) on Sherman Way and Woodley (About 1/4 mile away) and a Denny's on Sherman Way West of Havenhurst (a little over half a mile away on the opposite side of the airport. The pool looked to be open but the hot tub was taped off. If you need to stay in the central part of the Valley, this is a good bet (better than most lodging on Sepulveda Blvd) but if you're vacationing, stay somewhere in Woodland Hills or Studio City

This hotel has an airport connected to its parking area. There are constant flights and it is noisy. Upon check-in and once we got to the room there was a long black hair hanging on a towel in the room. The room was dingy and property is run down. I’m certain if you’re swimming in the pool that is out back by the airport you’ll be sucking jet fuel remnants and swimming in to!

The property is outdated but service staff is excellent. My sink in the room stoped working and they offered me another room or the option to fix it then. I’ve been coming to this hotel pre-covid and a lot has changed. The hot tub is closed but the pool is open. Overall the stay has been peaceful with excellent service. I would say give this hotel a chance.

Hotel is nice. Air conditioner runs loud and ice machine was only at front desk and jacuzzi was not available. However, staff is attentive and kind. Beds are great and water pressure in shower was the best and the pool is lovely. Continental breakfast in the morning was gooo, too. Once the hotel fixes the items I mentioned it will be top notch and get 5 stars.

I'm sure the Airtel was a nice property in its day but it is very rundown with no services. The cafe and restaurant were "temporarily closed" but we learned it had been closed since 2020. There was no coffee or tea in the room. There was coffee but no tea in the lobby from 7am - 10am. Both TVs in our room weren't working and when they sent the very nice security guard to try to fix them, he was unable. But very apologetic. The next day we returned from our events and both tvs were on and blarring. They had come into our room while we were out and repaired them Unfortunately, hearing the TV was moot because our room was 100ft from the runway and the sound of jets was constant and thunderous. The staff were all very nice but the area was lacking in any charm or services.

This property has a very nice lobby, with an airplane hanging from the ceiling as a centerpiece. The staff are courteous and attentive to the customer needs. Parking around the building needs work, with some potholes that should be paved. A helicopter going around in circles kept me up at night for several hours.

Visited the area for my sisters college graduation. This hotel was on the more affordable side so I was a bit hesitant, but the hotel was actually really nice. Rooms are very spacious and clean! The pool area was really pretty with string lights. Check-in process was super quick. The staff was very nice and helpful. Overall we had a great stay, would definitely recommend.

It was a convenient place to stay before taking the flyaway bus. No cars in parking lot so we thought it was closed. Once inside, staff at check in were very nice. Hotel is outdated. It did have a very small continental breakfast which was ok for a quick snack. Located next to an airport so expect noise. Over all clean and good as a stop over hotel but not a vacation experience. We will stay again if using flyway bus.
