We stayed at the Royal Hawaiian from October 9-19th, 2025. Everything about this Historical Hotel was Absolutely Amazing!!! We are already planning another stay in April 2026.

Hotel was absolutely beautiful. Check in was not as expected as we did not receive our upgrade through the Platinum program. Everything was very expensive. Mocktails same price as regular with alcohol. Coffee shop $8 USD for a latte. Very small pool and hot tub. Beach chairs also an additional cost $100usd for the day! Otherwise beautiful and well kept.

Staff was very nice. Hotel is at least 20 years past due for renovation. Ridiculous condition for a high end hotel

Immaculate! Spacious! Comfortable!
Although the furniture is old it is still relatively comfortable and a 3 seat sofa was much appreciated. The two double beds in the suite in the old part of the Royal Hawaiian were ever so comfortable. The bathroom is elegant and classic. The essence of history is apparent.

Excellent location. Beautiful historic hotel. Rooms need to be renovated. Probably will happen soon as it has been about 10 yrs since last renovation.

It didn’t feel special. Everything was fine, acceptable, but nothing stood out as being special. Just average.

Everything about The Royal Hawaiian was just perfect. We have been looking forward to staying at this beautiful historic hotel and our stay couldn’t have been better. The staff, the food, drinks, location…all of it exceeded our expectations. It was well worth it!

Everything about the stay was fantastic. I would mention one thing though. The Luau held by the hotel, while nice and enjoyable, is not a traditional Luau. It is quite expensive, just be aware, it’s more like a dinner and a stage show.

Nice staff, beautiful room, love the Mai Tai Bar and the 5 course meal at Azure. Tough to get a chair at the pool because the chairs are always covered in towels with very few people actually there at the pool.

The beach is open to the public. Lots of people and can get crowded.
