Limited information given on arrival. Pool facilities was more like a leisure centre due to children’s swimming lessons which we were not made aware of. We were also not made aware until day of arrival that only one restaurant was available due to a wedding function in the other. Dogs in the restaurant was also a shock especially when owners think everyone loves their pet as much as they do!! Hotel was tired in places which didn’t represent good value for money. We were also surprised that breakfast was not included for the price we paid. There are a lot better value for money options in the area. Had the information of swimming lessons and a restaurant unavailable been advised earlier we would not have booked.

Perfect venue for relaxing in West Sussex. Golf course and great practice facilities on site. Amazing brand new gym, good spa. Good restaurant and breakfast. Staff incredibly good.

Lovely getaway, nice bar and swimming pool. Nothing really to do for young children is the only downside. Restaurants close early.

Lovely hotel with beautiful rooms and very well maintained public areas. The restaurants and bars were all really nice and the food we had was excellent. Will definitely return here and highly recommend. It’s also in a lovely location for exploring Chichester and the South Downs

Nice place to stay in west Sussex

The room was extremely comfortable, clean and full of character, staff went above and beyond with every detail and extremely polite and helpful. The food was excellent and catered for everyone’s price and taste. The gym and pool facilities are well played out and clean. I can’t wait to visit again

Overall very good. Found the bed very soft though.

Arrived early and receptionist was very professional n helpful in getting a room for early check in. Had mid afternoon lunch limited menu. Evening meal was good standard welcoming staff. Highly recommend

We celebrated our anniversary at the Goodwood hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The weather was very hot & sunny, but despite the heat in the reception and dining areas, the staff remained cheery and helpful. (The bedrooms are Air conditioned!) We enjoyed a drink outside at the Bar & Grill and felt that this could have been a little more attractive, but it certainly didn't spoil our afternoon.

Extremely dog friendly, loved that the dog friendly rooms opened onto the courtyard garden (enclosed). The walks are beautiful/ stunning. Dogs welcome in the restaurants. Highly recommend.

someone else’s hair in the shower, shower overflow and leaked. Pool overcrowded with kids. Breakfast poor quality - had to ask 3 time for a drink

Parking was okay but we couldn't get the car charger to work. Tried 3 if them. Luckily it's a plug in hybrid so we were able to use petrol instead. Room was good. Staff very helpful. Pool nice but full of members of the club so unable to use all the facilities as the members were using them all the time. Bar was nice, food very good. Restaurant excellent.

A great stay, will definitely stay again!

Two octogenarians wanted 3 days of gentle swimming, jacuzi, gentle walking, nice food - all brilliant. The food was very neuvaux and very tasty - one small complaint. I doubt whether the helpings were sufficient for a couple of 20 year-olds.

Used the pool, steam and jacuzzi. All facilities within that area were immaculately clean, including the changing room. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Lovely location great facilities

Clean room, although milk wasn’t in a fridge so tasted sour by the morning. Toiletries enough for one person not two. But smelt lovely. Breakfast wasn’t included in the price. It was £30 pp added on top or in the bar & grill £17.95 for a full English or £12.95 for avocado & egg on toast which is reasonable. Breakfast menu was quite basic but free range which was very nice. Service from all staff was very good, friendly, and attentive. Beautiful grounds and hotel. We didn’t use the spa or pool but it looked amazing.

The hotel was fabulous. The rooms were spacious, the staff were hospitable and helpful. It was very welcoming of our dogs and the food was lovely. It was perfect for a mini break as both mine and my husbands interests were catered for. The Art foundation had a grest exhibition and my husband loved visiting the aerodrome and race track. We loved the spa too.
