Ubicación estratégica y de fácil acceso

All staff were very nice and attentive. Crib available and microwave if you ask. The buffet was great too! Lots of delicious food. Definitely recommend staying here

The hotel was so clean and unkept! Staff was amazing! They came to clean each day and left treats! Amenities were great! Location is perfect close to airport and near everything like restaurants, grocery stores,mall and more! I would definitely recommend this stay!

This was our second stay here, and we will definitely return! Clean, safe and comfortable environment. Great food options in the various dining areas. Pool is well maintained and has a lifeguard. Airport shuttle is very helpful! Staff was friendly and helpful, English is easily available as needed.

We stay on the 9th floor your vip lounge had only breakfast from 6am to 9am who goes to eat at that time all other Barcelo have from 7am to 10:30 am at least your hours are not customer friendly.

A well organized and comfortable place to come or go from the airport. Very nice. We have no real complaints! The shower leaks onto the bathroom floor but that was only inconvenience

Everything was excellent

I have stayed at the Barcelo on many occasions and this is the very first visit that I was not pleased with the condition of the rooms. In our first room, the hair dryer did not work and had to be replaced. The toilet did not flush. The maintenance person came twice and finally said that no toilet paper could be disposed in the toilet under any circumstances. After complaining, the staff were very helpful and moved us to another room. Despite verifying that everything was in order, the hair dryer in the new room was malfunctioning and we were afraid to use it. At around 2 am, we were woken up with a tremendous noise from the central air conditioning that lasted quite a while. Upon checking, it seemed the noise was emanating from the ceiling in the bathroom. Despite all this, the Barcelo remains one of my most favorite hotels in Guatemala City. The staff is, as always, very courteous and helpful. I would still return to stay there on another visit as I suppose the issues we encountered were an exception to the norm.

This hotel is located very close to the Airport and they have free shuttle. Also, if you rent a car with Alamo you can drop the car at this location before checking in the room. The breakfast is great, for dinner Kyoto is very good but a bit pricey. We usually stay at this hotel. In this occacion we only stayed for one night, we were given a room with two small beds and my wife and I had to sleep in separate beds. We could not enjoy the included breakfast since the open at 6am and we needed to be at the airport early. The shuttle does start at 4am which is convenient. The safe box got stuck which has happened to us a couple of times here. The check out was stressful, we needed to be ready by 7am to take the shuttle and we almost did not make it since the check out took some time since there was a line. We had dinner at Kyoto and we did not remember to ask for our discount, if you don't say anything they don't give you the discount. Overall we recommend this hotel specially premium since you have access to the VIP lounge. The only bad thing was the service this time, staff needs to pay attention, check out should be faster.
