Loved the free voucher to the hot spring. Enjoyed my stay. The hotel is currently going renovation. But the location is very good and convenient. Walking distance to the lake.

We were looking for a cheap one night stay and this place served the purpose. The hallways were run down and grubby but the room was clean. The A/C didn’t work very well and was noisy.

Air conditioner nailed to the open windows with a stick, venting back into room. Had to stuff pillows around it to keep the hot exhaust from coming back into the room. No housekeeping. Renovated room looked nice if you "don't look up". Hallway carpets stained, wallpaper peeling. No license or safety check document in creaky elevator.

Really close to the beach and affordable place to stay. Staff were very friendly and kind to us.

The pond with the koi fish at the hotel was beautiful.

The building is in shambles....the staff were very nice and overworked it seemed, it was clean to as good as a falling apart hotel could be. Lots of potential in the building but needs millions in repairs if that gives a good picture. But it was cheap so I guess you get what you pay for. Bed was clean and comfortable otherwise I'm not sure I could have stayed.

very good considering they are in the middle of renovating , but once they are done it will be great.

This was a dirty hole stay clear of it The whole hotel was dirty and really not worth the money they charge. I was honestly afraid to take my shoes off in the room as the floors where that dirty and stained.

Staff was not so friendly or welcoming. Elevator was very dirty Hallways was very dirty and many spots of broken or out of place. Spider web in one of the rooms table lamps Microwave, tv and all other room furniture outdated. Unable to charge my cellphone due to the electric connections poor.

I did not want to pay $ 500. per night for a basic room at the Resort, so I opted for this choice. Embarrassing to say the very least. The hallways are 3rd world dirty and worn and in dis-repair. The fridge in both rooms did not work. The A/C in one room did not work. The carpets dirty. It is a very very basic hotel. Very run down. No amenities at all. The lobby looks okay, but the rest of it needs a bull dozer. I would not stay here again, nor recommend it .

Service needs improvement

I booked this trip with Expedia (driving from Calgary to Victoria) never had a problem with any hotel, until my check in at Harisson. The front desk staff says “we have your reservation on our Expedia page, but is not on my system, and we are full/no rooms available”. How can you you see my reservation, but not have me in the system? The guy on the front desk, never tried to help us, never offered to call a sister hotel, or Expedia to see what could be done. Simply stood there like I was a bother to him. I called Expedia and was on the phone for over one hour (thank you the agents were so helped up and tried to help me to their best ability and they were so nice) I ended up finding a hotel 50 minutes away on Abbotsford. I will definitely not recommend Harisson to my co workers, family and friends. A hotel that will not try at all to help you or show sympathy.

There was not fan or air conditioner was working they haven’t mentioned while booking the room the staff showed up with a fan and saying its not working

The Lobby was dated but okay. The underground parking area was terrible, the insulation from the ceiling was all over the ground, the area was unswept. The elevator foyer in the garage area was in disrepair and dirty. My room was on the third floor so I can’t comment on the other floors but the third floor hallway was in complete disrepair. It looked like there had been water damage as all the wall paper was coming off at the bottom of all the walls. There was gyproc on the floor. The corridors were dark and dingy looking. The room and bedding were clean, however the room was very worn looking. I was only staying one night and leaving early in the morning so I stayed, otherwise I wouldn’t have. The included breakfast buffet included some pieces of bread and boxes of cereal and I gather some coffee. I just left.

Property was run down. Nobody was at the counter when we arrived and phoned 5 times,but nobody picked up. Ended up cancelling.

Room wasn’t very clean and had issues with water on our floor. Staff was coming in and out of the room to fix without asking us. Police incident taking place on arrival, which we understand the hotel has no control over but pretty off putting. Room was not ready even though key was given to us, staff was running to change bedsheets. It is a very convenient location so close to everything. Parking was not very convenient, we had to find parking on the street.

I have nothing good to say will not come back

Stayed for 3 days. Room was everything we needed. Comfy bed & crisp white sheets/duvet were such a bonus. So many places to visit and wonderful walking trails. We'll definitely be back.
