Lovely hotel…great for families

Property was good and check in was pretty quick since I’d already paid online. Parking was easy to get a spot and was free of charge. The room was quite warm, but given that the weather had been very hot it’s understandable. However I’d say it would be a good idea to leave the windows open to help with airflow. There wasn’t a guest booklet or any info in the room we were in so procedures for swimming or the fitness suite etc weren’t readily available. The pool area was grand and a good size. The requirement to wear and/or purchase a swim cap was a bit odd as I’ve never seen that at any other hotel I’ve stayed at. We didn’t eat breakfast as it was rather dear at £20 per person on top of the price of the room.

The hotel could use paint on the outside but the inside is lovely! Clean, bright and spacious - it is a great hotel for a family get-away.

Most of the staff was great. The reception desk staff was awesome and accommodating. They have smaller personal refrigerator that can be used for a milk jug if youre traveling with babies. The staff at the bar was really friendly.

A quick drive into the city from this hotel, we liked its location. Very quiet, fabulous bathroom, huge bed, nice staff. Would stay here again.

Huge hotel full of Irish families and parties — fun to see. Our kids loved the family room and of course the hotel breakfast buffet and pool.

The hotel is very family centered with a kids activity center and large. Rooms vary in conditions depending on if they are in the refurbished part. A bit disappointed in the condition of our room and the fact that it didn’t have air conditioning. There is constant activity in the bar area at the front of the hotel.

The property was clean and quiet. It was easy to hop on a bus into town and back.

Great staff and close to transit for downtown Galway. They have renovated rooms on the first floor that they post on their website, but most of the rooms are outdated and not the renovated, new rooms pictured. You would have to pay a premium for those rooms. It felt a little dishonest, and that’s why I give it 3/5 stars. We did experience a plumbing issue, and we were able to be accommodated. They were quick to help and very attentive.

The property is nice enough. It says it focuses on families, but the pool closes to chiodren under 17 at 7pm. We tood the front desk that after dinner we were heading there, they did not tell us it closed at 7 for our kids. Also, bring your own swim cap or buy one from them for 3 Euros a piece, or you cant swim. Breakfast was decent. Not a hard pass, but not really the best option for families

The gym was great and parking was easy.
