Bit unfair to single out one person from the group of staff who were all very professional and super friendly BUT the Check in lady on Saturday morning 24th January was exceptional, an absolute credit to Scandic. In regards amenities, we had 2 rooms and they were clean and met our needs for our stay in Kemi. We also ate in the Bistro and found the service and food to be very good.

Great facilities at the hotel. Good location for touring the area.

An old hotel with good staff. Some rooms are a bit 80’s-ish type but some have e.g. recently renovated bathrooms. Has a sauna and a pool.

There is limired accommodation in Kemi, so this is one of average stay, good location. But facilities are quite tired

This hotel had the best people working for them. All the staff were helpful and courteous. The room was very clean and comfortable. The restaurant had great food and the waitresses were funny and friendly. Just can’t say enough great things about this hotel. We will tell everyone about it

Nice hotel, but extremely mixed review of the staff. There was one younger woman working in the mornings who was terrible. Waited 5 minutes to check-in despite there being the only ones there. When the receptionist finally came out to greet us, she just wanted to get rid of us. Did not give us the internet passcode, did not inform us about breakfast or provide us with a city map. She was extremely rude. In the evening, there was an older lady, who gave us the exact opposite service (it was so welcoming and genuine, it felt hard to believe we were at the same hotel). Rest of the hotel was good. Don't be put off if you get the rude younger lady

nice hotel at the end of town just overlooking a park and lake, on site restaurant but we chose to find something in town. breakfast was fab so much to choose from the herring was very nice

Very busy hotel with coach loads of new clients arriving and leaving throughout the day. Poor information on available services (eg breakfast times only advertised in the lift!) Good restaurant but again no accessible information about it. Reception staff were very helpful however.

Easy to find hotel. Free parking available. Cold welcoming staff. Durty floor, hair on the floor, hair in the towels, dust everywhere.

Great and friendly staff. I had an early flight and they said they would organise a take away breakfast pack and gluten free option was available.

Hotel cumulus in kemi is well located, everything is close by, all staffs are very friendly and very helpful, Specialy Karolina at the reception who was really nice to us and help us a lot. Kemi is a very nice city and have plenty activities, safaris, snow Castle within walking distance etc.. *Highly recommended*

Breakfast was OK, not many gluten-free options like other hotels in Finland typically have. Room was OK, shower tile was old and stained in the grout. Overall it was fine.

Good hotel for a business trip!

pros: spacious room, supermarkets and restaurants within walking distances, friendly staff, good for short transfer cons: price too high, unattractive breakfast, weirdly long hallway, most accommodating groups so can be loud and crowded sometimes

Cumulus Kemi is a good, comfortable and well-located hotel. The staff was very friendly. We enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend it.

Our stay was pleasant and the service terrific. The hotel is a bit dated but the room was clean and the friendly service more than compensated. The breakfast buffet and restaurant were fine. I would stay again.
