Excellent hotel, but one annoying problem. Hotel requires communication every time to turn on the A/c in the room. You leave your room, a/c turns off. Then you return, you have to tell reception to turn on the A/c to the temp you want. Reception doesn’t always pick up the phone, we’ve had to walk down in person several times to ask to turn on the a/c. On our last night, we told staff to turn on A/c, they said they will, and forgot. Sleeping sweaty and miserable, a/c never came on.

I loved everything about this hotel. I was there for a conference, and it wasn’t far from the conference. It was easily situated between tourist attractions and local shops. Also, the breakfast and views were phenomenal. 10/10, highly recommend. (Should mention there is no gym, but you can walk everywhere from here and there is a basketball court and public transportation nearby.)

The staff is HORRIBLE - rude women at the front counter. They gave us a room that was like a dungeon with no light and they had 0 courtesy to say sorry about it they’re like “ it’s all we have” with attitude. They managed to switch the room for us after my partner complained and told them they’d had stayed there before and always gets a room upgraded. They gave us a room with a view but then the bed sheet was stained … and the AC was worse than a fan and Barcelona is warm …

The staff is extremely courteous, especially the restaurant in the 9th floor. The property location is optimal as all the city attractions area nearby.

Had a great stay. Things didn't start out well, but the front desk manager who I dealt with on the second day of our stay really went above and beyond to rectify our concerns. I'm just sorry I forgot his name (early shift Jan 2). Beakfast provided complimentary in response to our concerns was excellent. The restaurant staff offered superb service and I definitely would recommend this great breakfast overlooking Barcelona’s rooftops. I also want to shout out Expedia customer service. Mohit dealt with things very promptly and professionally on my behalf as we had to run off to a preplanned event just after check-in.
