Staff was exceptionally helpful. When we needed a walk-in shower rather than a tub, every effort was made to accommodate our needs. Very friendly & professional.

Located within 3 minutes of train station. But a quiet property with easy access to shopping and dining.

The AC was not working. Staff was rude. When the ac was fixed ceiling started leaking water.

Ok property for 1 night. Mattress was uncomfortable. My pet hate - plastic and paper cups- even for coffee. That’s what you expect at a 1 star hotel. Room looked nothing like the photos. We only had 1 pillow each. Only positive that the staff were very nice and helpful.

Nice place. There is AC but it does not cool as much as one might want. The staff were great when our first room had issues. The room was changed (and upgraded) right away. The breakfast costs extra. It was very high quality. Ask the price first. Not clear we’d have taken it if we had.

The hotel is in a very convenient position to the main train station - a 3 minute walk. The staff person checking us in was unfriendly and generally unhelpful in telling us what facilities we could use in the hotel. The other staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. There was no way to boil water in our room to make a cup of tea. (only a coffee pod machine) Only on our last day, did one staff member give us an electric kettle to take to our room. The air-con unit in the ceiling started to drip water into the room on our last day. Staff fixed the problem but it was a disturbance and it appeared to be a recurring problem. Overall, the hotel was fine for our stay. The room was spacious and in keeping with a hotel that is very old, but has been renovated and maintained in keeping with its heritage.

Location was good. There was very limited amenities. The hotel sounds good on their site and maybe it was as advertised years ago but that is not the way it is today.

Lovely traditional hotel, quite grand in parts! Very nice spacious room with desk, wardrobe, coffee making machine. Comfortable and clean pretty near the centre and free public transport and discount on museums

Excellent for proximity to rail and metro stations. Good size room. Would have been better with a kettle. Staff were helpful and pleasant. There was a fair selection for breakfast but it never changed.

Hotel is nice, staff is friendly, location is near train station, convenient but a lot of weird and homeless people around so don’t feel very safe. Rooms are clean, bathrooms also, in a good condition. The breakfast is the downside, poor, limited and nothing is really tasty. We end up eating at the cafes.

Beautiful large room, exceptionally clean. 5 minute walk from Lausanne Train station, NO street or train noise.

Only thing - carrying the luggage up needed a detour through service area. Rest was all great. Excellent location
