Great staff…love the breakfast and walking distance to a ton of retail

The man at the desk on check in was lovely and very hospitable. Had dinner in the restaurant and at first the waitress was nice but when I went to pay she asked "how was everything " didn't get time to even open my mouth and she had walked off and the lovely African waitress made the excuse, sorry we are busy, ( only two other tables in the restaurant) because I thought it was rude that she asked me a question and proceeded to walk off. The meals were average, definitely microwaved. Frozen veg with the barramundi LOL for the price and the impressive sounding menu to when the food came out, completely different. I do like to stay at the Rockford, but either change the price of the food, or improve the quality. It was quite tasteless. The side dish Brazilian rice was just a bit of white rice with some spicy salt?

The hotel was in a great position for bars, restaurants and places of interest. The staff were all helpful and friendly. Rooms were large and very clean and tidy. The bar and restaurant were lovely with good value food and drink. All in all a great hotel to stay for 3 nights.

There was a massive chasm in the centre of the bed where two twins had been joined together. It made for a very uncomfortable night.

Always easy and awesome at the Rockford! I didn't get time to enjoy a buffet breakfast this time round, but they're always good!
