I have stayed in countless hotels over the years but The Sir Christopher Wren has to be one of the best . The location was perfect, all of the staff were friendly and helpful and the food both at breakfast and for evening meals was top quality. I can`t find a single thing I wasn`t happy with. Dave Duff

Comfortable hotel in great location with wonderful staff. Only problem was inconsiderate neighbours who let everyone on the corridor know they were checking out at 4am.

The hotel is in a fabulous location, right on the River Thames next to the bridge to Eton and near Windsor Castle. It was easily walkable to everything. The restaurant was lovely with a view of the river and swans, and the food was great! It was the only hotel I stayed at in England that included breakfast, so that was much appreciated. The only negative is the amount of stairs. There is no lift, and I had to climb five sets of stairs to my room. It wasn't easy with a large heavy suitcase. That is just a caution to anyone who has trouble with stairs. However, the positives far out-weigh the negative, and I would definitely stay here again.

From the moment one walks in, the staff is professional and the entryway is welcoming! My room was immaculate, the furnishings and bathroom were beautifully decorated, and the outside patio overlooking the Thames cannot be equaled. It is so close to the castle and shops. This was truly the best stay of my trip to England.

I will give an overall rating of good but there is a caveat. Everything was clean and the food was good. Room placement was well below average as we were placed across the street, almost in a hole of the building. One window that you could not open and a tub/shower combo that was very difficult to get into and out of. Not exactly what the picture showed.

Great location on the river. Everywhere is walkable. Lovely restaurant and bar area. Staff all very friendly and attentive. Room was clean and modern but small. Breakfast could have been hotter - had gone cold in serving trays. Yes I would stay again.

Nice clean room but beware that many rooms are across the road from the main building and you have to dart between them (not great when it was pouring down) for food or reception. Bedrooms doors are loud when they auto close and slam shut, a very disruptive night due to inconsiderate guests all hours. Amazing location for Windsor castle and right on the river. Superb breakfast and view from brasserie.

Beautiful hotel with a great view of the river Thames. Staff was friendly and attentive. Our room was luxurious. Only downside was the head clearance in our room for my husband

I was actually unable to visit this Hotel due to illness, however I did find a number of problems which were made difficult. The Hotel details indicate Parking. It is in a Pedestrian Zone to which cars are not allowed. The Parking arrangements are made at the Railway station, a 10 mins walk from the Hotel, assuming you are fit and healthy. For those with Blue Badge I later found that Blue Badge Parking is available at the same Railway station. But when I eventually got to ask about them they were fully booked. Requests for assistance are invariably "Have a Look on our Web Site" I further believe that there are no Lifts. All these points are worthy of publication and are not personal but informative for any future customers.

We had fond memories of our last stay here, but the breakfast wasn’t as good and the beds weren’t as comfortable as they were three years ago. The parking offered by the hotel is several blocks away and exceedingly tight, so drop your bags before parking your tiny car. And if you don’t want to walk through a maze of hallways and staircases, book a room in their newer building across the street from reception.
