Had a trouble free stay Holiday Inn Express Nashville Downtown - Broadway. Check in was easy and convenient, breakfast was awesome, room was comfortable and clean. Gym could use some revamping. Hotel was a 10 minute walk from the Honky Tonks and a 5 minute walk from Whole Foods (grocery store). Would recommend to others and would stay here again.

First I put the housekeeping door tag on requesting no housekeeping services only to come back to my room and find it had been returned inside my room and housekeeping came inside despite my request. Had I known someone was going to be in my room without me there then I would have put my valuables in the safe, etc. Secondly, at checkout I was offered either a printed receipt or an email copy of my receipt. I requested an email copy to submit for reimbursement to my employer for the hotel expenses. I did not receive a receipt. I called the hotel twice requesting a receipt and on the second call was told I could not be provided a receipt because I booked through Hotels.com and would need to contact Hotels.com for a receipt. A colleague on the same business trip requested a printed receipt at check out and was provided a receipt. I always book my hotel stays through Hotels.com and have NEVER been told by a hotel that they could not provide me a receipt by email. If a receipt can be printed and provided at checkout then the same receipt can be sent by email. This is poor customer service and information that should have been provided at checkout. The receipt from Hotels.com shows charges but does not show payment and instructs the user to contact the hotel for the final receipt.

I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times. There are many positives. The reason we have chosen the hotel are: free breakfast (the staff is so friendly), outdoor pool and location. There was a mishap upon checking in. We were told that our room type (2 full) selected was not available and could only have a king room. They said there have been issues with third party booking and we later found out that this has been something that has been reoccurring recently with this hotel. This did not work for us as we had three in the room. The front desk staff was able to figure out something to get us in the correct room, she was very positive and friendly. The only negative for this hotel is that the room we were eventually placed in, the beds were terrible. There were many deep divots in them that made is very uncomfortable to sleep. I would also like to note that the bartender, Kari, she was awesome!

Excellent Hotel with amazing Hotel Staff. The breakfast (included with your stay) offered lots of choice. The evening Social hour (also included) was a nice touch. Our room was large, clean and very comfortable.

Okay for a place to stay, not enough seats during breakfast, everything needs to be updated. Beds are old and all have low spots. Carpets and dirty and need to be replaced. Okay for basic hotel stay but pricey for what it is.

Property was good Great location. Has everything you will need. Clean location. Was not happy with check in manager on site. I was irh group of 6 and booked 3 rooms 2 months ago. Arrive on site and they say do not have room.for.me because i used 3rd party site to book expedia. But rooms for my guest were still there. They wanted to put me in another location further away. This is after i called last week and spoke to location about rooms and if we can have on same floor. Finally she moves someone else around to get me a room and says will move someone else. Not good. But i guess somewhat fixed the issue

The room was ok, the one bed was lop sided. The bathroom was dirty. Complained to desk clerk no one contacted me, day of check out told them about the whole experience and I got so sorry and what can we do for you? My thought is you should be telling me what your going to do for me, instead of asking.

Our room was horrible. They had to cut 3” off the door because the floor was so uneven the door wouldn’t open. The bed was literally on a slant. Why would I pay full price for that?
