The staff at the Mercury Hotel were very friendly and helpful, and that was definitely the highlight of our stay. One positive aspect was the location. It was close to a shopping centre, so everything you need is nearby. The connection to Paris was also convenient, with Uber costing around €20 one way. However, overall the hotel felt quite outdated. In our room there were signs of wallpaper falling off, and we also experienced a leaking pipe in the bathroom, which we reported to the staff. The swimming pool water was very warm, which was nice, but the breakfast was quite basic and not what I expected. Unfortunately, the breakfast staff did not speak English, which made communication difficult. Out of all the Mercury hotels I have stayed in, this was definitely the poorest experience overall.

The only good things were clean sheets and good mattresses. Broken light in the bathroom. Falling plastic ceiling in bathroom (room 101) No movies on demand. Eye sore from window (looking at broken dirty ac system) Strong vinegar smell in corridor travelling through the room. Pool was dirty (full of hairs) with dirty slippery floors. The interaction with the afternoon personnel’s was short and abrupt (felt like we were asking for too much, when trying to organise towel for swimming pool) Overall it was not a pleasant stay. Mercure Velizy is outdated, dirty with unpleasant staff. We will never go back there. Beware Photos online isn’t what you will be getting!!

Good hotel and friendly staff. Breakfast was very good. Good location but the hotel need a refurbish because it's very old. That a shame because otherwise it will be 5 stars for sure.

Good location for a stop off but the walls or adjoining doors let in an awful amount of noise from next door guests - so if you’re sensitive to that, may be worth considering a different hotel.

From check in the experience was exceptionally poor. Had to wait 55 mins to check in as the member of staff was dealing with the family before me and taking forever. Then at check-in, gave my booking number and was ready to pay the fee confirmed with Expedia but staff member advised I had to pay an extra €60 per night of stay = €360. Told staff member this was not mentioned when booking the hotel and I did not have and extra €360. The staff member was ready to leave myself and 3 children on the road with nowhere to sleep as we disnt jave the extra money. After 1 hour negotiations we were allowed to check in. 3 kids were in tears as we had just landed and they were scared we didnt have anywhere to go. The room smelled constantly of urine, especially bathroom. Bath did not drain. Towels were dirty. Pool area was dirty, broken furniture in the very small, dirty outside area. Very limited menu in restaurant that smelt like sewage. Will never stay there again.

Beds were comfortable and breakfast food was great with plenty of choice, the location of the hotel was fantastic as it was nearby public transport for access. Worth the price 👌

Business hotel used for access to Versailles

Our stay here was fine. The staff were almost entirely extremely friendly and helpful except for the only man on the late shift who clearly didn’t want to talk to a client for the simplest reason (my card needed to be reprogrammed—for the second time, so maybe I get to be annoyed and not him?). All the women were lovely people. The building is very old and not well maintained and in a fairly industrial business section. But due to the very negative reviews of the restaurant we left the hotel and found wonderful restaurants and boulangerie in a few minutes walk. Great food nearby. The pool was decent enough for a relaxing dip. Very old but still enjoyable. The grate from a ceiling vent fell and made a loud noise during the night. Luckily nobody was under it. They fixed it right away but no comment. I recommend if you get it off the app at a discount. Probably nicer places on the same block.

Never been to a hotel before were I was checked in to a room with a broken door. Such a safety hazard. My room door could open without a key. What could have happened if I hadn't noticed.

Very good in general. The pool was closed The aircondition in the fitness room didn't work. It was only fan, not cooling. I took half board. The menu doesn't offer many choises and it is the same menu for all week.

Room was clean and spacious. Despite bath inside has sone plastic hard stone coming off which can be dangerous. Internet did not work in my room Breakfast was generous they have plenty of tables which is great. Staff has been kind and helpful Thank you (527)

Was ok

Noisy with roadworks outside. Very dated interior. Most staff moody as sin witht he exception for one guy thst others were also commending. Many people had issues with the rooms Miles away from central paris too. The only good thing is its right next to the huge westfield centre

The hotel was everything we needed it to be. The staff were lovely

We liked the cleanliness as when we came back to our hotel room the bed sheets were changed and clean and so was the room. However the tv remote didnt work and the heating wasnt working. Also at the food area downstairs it was only breakfast there wasnt lunch , dinner or a bar to have drinks.
