Good hotel good staff and a lovely breakfast

If Carlsburg did Crossroads Motels. Staff on reception were under heavy pressure due to coach arrivals, maybe an extra person at busy times would help, otherwise couldnt fault it.

Rather rin down rooms in back quarters

Everything was excellent including meals great value

Check in took 2-1/2 hours, absolute shambles 3 check in kiosk and one woman taking forever Breakfast is also terrible and not what is advertised

Stayed for one night. The room was very cosy and warm and clean extra pillows very nice shower also had dinner food was outstanding staff were very helpful and attentive to any request we had amazing big playground for kids spotless to pool gym. I couldn't fault this hotel staff will go above and beyond to make sure ur needs are met. Very very nice hotel they have everything u need overall it was the staff they were fantastic, very warming and polite family friendly pets to amazing place.also little arcades for the kids and bigger kids lol.

Nothing to complain about at all , great place to stay & central to all days out . Coming again soon & will book next size room up.

Good location. Swimming pool ok, though a bit small. Breakfast expensive.

Great family hotel

Was not expecting this to be an extremely busy place, lineups to get bar service in order to get ice. No fridge in the room. Bathroom was really nice but the rest of the unit was extremely dated and the mattresses were not new, they were old spring mattresses. No AC but fans and a portable heater were provided. Asked the staff for kleenex, sorry we dont have any, asked for toilet paper, we dont have any. Food choices were extremely expensive and when I went in to ask what was available, they said we're closed rudely. Garbage pails outside were overflowing, parking was an issue. Starbucks offered coffee that was quite expensive compared to elsewhere. I will give credit that the room was very clean although dated.

On a week end break, my wife and I, who had enjoyed a stay at the hotel in 2012, were most disappointed. The building and furnishings were tired, the bed uncomfortable, and the room had seen better days. The seats in the longe area were worn, sometimes stained too. There were too few staff available at the reception desks, with at times long queues of guests waiting to check in. We had chosen the half board option, but were also not impressed by that. Some of the dishes at the dinner consisted of cheap frozen food, sometimes it took a while for the staff to replenish what had run out. On our first dinner, the white fish was very well cooked, but not so on the second. The deserts were not appealing at all. At breakfast, the milk ran out one morning and in general the food presented was not very appetising. Additionally, we were advised via a page of notes handed out on arrival that room service would not take place (as it only happened, once, if you stayed five or more days). Overall, we left very unimpressed and do not intend to return. This hotel was supposed to be four stars. What we experienced fell way below that.

Great for families. Tge pool and sauna were good. Food was included and buffet style.

The facilities at the resort are great, couldn't fault them. The room looked dated and we couldn't sleep for the stiffling heat, even with the window open and the fan on. We ate in the bar when we arrived and the plates the food came on were too small for the portion, making it awkward to eat.

Just one night, room was clean and large,bed ok. breakfast was good but overpriced a wee bit .only serve till 9.30, 10 at weekend. Lovely Ukraine lady at the desk, waiters were good too.

Make sure they give you right room. Gave me someone else's room

Plenty of parking. Very unfriendly welcome. Family rooms are across the other side of the hotel from reception so bring bags with wheels. Received all the info about works being done and staff training AFTER our stay, which was very unhelpful. Very understaffed reception, think the boss walked past a few times when there was a queue of 3 of us waiting for 20 minutes. Ridiculous wait time for such a short queue, it was much larger when I left and staff didnt even acknowledge or apologise to anyone waiting. The room was basic, with paper thin walls. I could hear my neighbour using the toilet in detail, full conversations and every slight movement. Not ideal when kids are trying to sleep or not great for your neighbour when your kids are making normal kid noise. Lovely area, lots to do but very disappointing

Big shout out to Ross the receptionist very helpful and professional! Room nice however the rainfall shower didn't have a head - very odd. Buffet dinner very poor quality. Breakfast staff are abrupt asked for some cutlery and when I returned to the table it was left in a pile. The mixed berries fruit was frozen.The table the coffee machine stands on is uneven so when the buttons are pushed the machine moves. Haggis is like slips! Bar area lovely and staff friendly.
