Wonderful views. My wife said that this was one of the best hotel breakfasts that she has had.

This is an amazing property for those who enjoy being outdoors and enjoying nature. The grounds are huge and there are many areas to quietly relax without feeling you are in a crowd. The staff are very attentive and go above and beyond to ensure you have everything you need and all your questions are answered. It was excellent value for the price we paid compared with other Norwegian hotels. Definitely I would return here or recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet relaxing hotel

Location is a plus point for this hotel. The property is old and they are trying to keep it good as much as possible..

Outstanding hotel.

We were a group of three guys travelling for personal reasons and just there for two nights. As such we were relaxed and probably pre-disposed not to be hyper-critical of anything. Having said that, the hotel is in a super convenient position, the room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was truly excellent, and the staff were friendly and attentive. If I'm ever back this way, would definitely stay here again. In the interest of balance, a few minor gripes: the number of 'sleeping policemen' on one of the approach roads felt like a few too many, the shower room was a tad small, would have expected slightly more drawer space in the room, and would recommend you stay off the aquavit - none of which would prevent me coming back if I ever want to return to Asker. Happy days.

What a GORGEOUS hotel! Large and beautifully decorated old hotel. It was so worth every penny. The staff made me a special breakfast because I missed it and I was so grateful but it was also one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. Definitely a must book if I return to Oslo

The place was perfect, brilliant location overlooking Asker and the forests. Staff at breakfast were really good very helpful plus the food was very good quality. Would recommend this hotel to everyone and we will be staying again. Only 20 minute drive from the Centre of Oslo

Beautiful clean hotel full of character in a lovely area. Landscaped gardens close to mountains & the sea.

Beautiful view-that’s why I picked it. Walls in the room were a bit dirty. Shower designed poorly so I had to wipe the water off the bathroom floor every time. I could imagine if people weren’t diligent mold could become an issue. Nice sitting rooms- energy a bit stale in them though. Fresh water still and sparkling was a big plus for me. Hotel staff was so kind and would go out of their way to be helpful.. love them! Yummy breakfast spread. Nice outdoor seating.

I was in Asker for business and chose this hotel due to the location. The overall environment is beautiful with a wonderful view of the fjord. The common rooms were all very nice.The room I had was the standard double - extremely small. The bathroom shower doors had to be closed inward in order to use the toilet. There were not many plugs and when I asked about this I was told to unplug a lamp to use the socket. For me the standard was far below the cost of the room. Choices are limited in Asker - so next time I would request a larger double room if I were to stay again.

We chose the Quality due to location near friends. It was old but updated. The room we had did not have any views and was so small that we couldn't even put our luggage out.

This hotel is very pretty overlooking the fjord. The rooms are good although a bit small. The rooms do not have in-room safes but do now offer mini bars. It would be nice to have a hot water maker. The bathrooms seems to have been renovated and are much nicer and better appointed than before. This hotel does give good value for the cost and I would recommend it.

Cozy and beautiful.

The hotel is very nice with beautiful surroundings. Rooms are very small for US standards, especially the bathroom. There are few amenities and the shower is very tight. The bed is very comfortable and the wireless works extremely well. Breakfast is also very good.

Only stayed for a couple of nights while working nearby, the only thing was that it was a bit remote and a good 20 min walk into town.

Das Hotel können wir nur empfehlen. Die Zimmer sind sauber und groß. Schön wäre es die Klimaanlage besser zu regeln. Hinsichtlich behindertengerechte Wege Könnte hier noch etwas optimiert werden. Besonders empfehlenswert ist das Frühstücksbufett. Das Essen welches wir uns abends bestellt haben, war sehr gut. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
