Nice dinner in the pub, great quality, well served and priced ok.

Inn on the lake is within an area close to amenities, quiet place, clean, spacious, the jet tubs are a great way to relax next to the bed. Staff are accommodating and polite. Highly recommend, will stay again.

Very comfortable stay

It’s a cute little inn, quaint I’d say. They were repairing the deck and it looked like it would be sweet in summer. We had a room overlooking the pool but it’s off season so too cold. They had a room with coffee and tea all day, and a fridge with some muffins and yogurt in lieu of breakfast because off season. The coffee was pretty good, food was meh. Decor is clean and well kept for being early 90’s I’d guess. We got a room with a whirlpool tub and enjoyed it after long days of walking. It was clean and easy to use. Bed was quite firm, but good quality. Bedding was good quality. I’d like to stay again in summer sometime. I understand the lack of service in the off season, but I would have appreciated a note in room if restaurants that offer take out or delivery, or open late. We tried the bar but it was closed early.

Staff were excellent and very good location if your hopping around Nova Scotia.

I enjoyed the quaintness of the hotel and its historical touches. The food at the restaurant was excellent. My suggestion would be to have vending machines that use credit cards, as many people no longer carry cash. It was disappointing, when looking for an evening snack, to not be able to access them because I didn’t have cash on hand.

This is a very nice property, situated on a lake , very close to Halifax City. The staff are excellent, food was great. Rooms were comfortable and clean. This Hotel/Inn has a resort feel.

Booked suite, smelled musty, very outdated Nice bed and bedding Bar is beautiful Food was good, service ok Probably wouldn’t stay again! Unless the room looked like it did on booking
