All very good, very kind service

Overall the hotel is closed to the center and the station. One thing what I missed was the cooling in the room. With this hot weather I was not able to find solutions to cool the room down, and do not know if that even exists. Beside that, the hotel is good for short trips.

The room was uncomfortably small, and uncomfortably warm. It was well placed, but not very inviting. There was a pervasive odor of sewage.

Irritating that the internet wi-fi was so bad. Nearly no function at all. Otherwise an ok hotel.

Bei meiner Anreise um 15:30 Uhr war mein Zimmer noch nicht verfügbar. Ich sollte um 16:00 Uhr noch einmal vorbeikommen. Es gab weder ein Angebot, mein Gepäck dort zu lassen, noch eine sonstige Entschuldigung. Also musste ich mein Gepäck wieder im Auto lassen. Für den Parkplatz wurden 15,00 € verlangt. Als ich am Abend von einer Besprechung zurückkam, gab es keine freien Parkplätze mehr. Eine Rechnung für die Übernachtung gibt es auch nicht, weil ich über Hotels.com gebucht habe. Bei allen anderen Hotels habe ich eine Rechnung erhalten. Der Service ist wirklich schlecht. Das einzige, was das Hotel hat, ist die zentrale Lage.

Clean, nice atmosphere in bar and restaurant, great breakfast, friendly staff, close to Stadt Halle

It is like a socialist nightmare. Didnt expect this to still exist in 2024. Tiny, dirty room, with no AC, only one outlet behind the tv, no space to sit on old desk. Wifi horribly spotty, impossible to work let alone do a virtual meeting. Avoid.

Das Zimmer bot fast alles was wichtig ist. Bei diesen hohen Temperaturen (über 30 Grad ) wäre vielleicht ein Ventilator nicht schlecht gewesen. Das Fenster ließ sich zwar öffnen, aber bei diesen Temperaturen nicht wirklich hilfreich. Vielleicht wäre auch eine Klimaanlage vernünftig. Ansonsten war unser Aufenthalt sehr gut.

Everything was fine when we checked in. Then we got to the elevator and had our first aha moment. The background noise didn't exactly inspire confidence. The rooms were tiny, you could barely walk around the bed. If you kept your dog in there, the animal protection agency would step in. Using the toilet was a real challenge, squeezed so tightly between the wall and the shower cubicle. Strange hair on the bed. The breakfast deserves a positive mention. It was varied and appetizing. However, the placemats were so dirty, disgusting. All in all, never again!!!

According to my previous experience with my stay in 4 stars hotels in different cities all around the world, I asked the receptionist to give us tow pairs of Slippers but they refused and said give the negative rate as you wish. I am also got charged extra rather than my invoice from Expedia. I guess the receptionists there need more orientation lessons to learn how to deal with customers like me. I am a medical doctor and unfortunately my wife suffers from OCD however we had no issues with our previous stays in another hotels but Congress Hotel in Chemnitz.!! So disappointed.

Conveniently located in the city center and minutes walk to the Christmas Market and shopping district.

Room was very small, especially for 2 people. Bathroom also very small, but clean. However, there was a pair of dirty socks under the bed.

Good location, business like hotel, hotel car park is convenient and charge €12 a day but public parking 1 minute walk away for €8
