The staff is truly exceptional at Intercontinental Miramar Panama, IHG. They catered to all of our needs at all hours of the day. Great bathing products in the room, always full to the brim, And all of our needs were met. I would highly recommend staying here. The pool is superb as well.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. However the actual rooms could use some major upgrades. For being considered a four or five star resort, the room phone did not work, there was no mini bar/fridge, chips or cracks in the tables and lamps. No easily accessible outlets on the desk or next to the bed for charging devices. The TV was a flat screen, but not a SmartTV, so there was no streaming services available. IGH really needs to upgrade this property

Hotel in construction

I was not pleased that the building was undergoing renovation so construction noise was loud during the day. Pool was closed which I was not warned about. Access was granted to a neighboring hotel’s pool but I did not enjoy that pool and it was not convenient.

Fantastic location! Great walkability and easy access to Casco Viejo. The staff was very accommodating the room was updated and clean. The star downgrade is for the dirty windows that interfered with an otherwise incredible view and even though we were 20 floors up the motorcycle noise from the street below was loud and clear.

We stayed 4 nights with our 3 yo son. The property was very very clean. Family friendly 10+. The pools were amazing! We could see the ocean from our room. This was the perfect family vacation. Highly recommend. We felt very safe.

Yes, the ocean was visible from my room. However, the pool is out of commission indefinitely, and I was extremely disappointed in that situation as one of the main reasos I selected the hotel was because of the pool.

Look at the picture used to market this hotel, with the beautiful pool. We went there for that pool, to relax. It was closed for renovations!!! I wish we could have cancelled on the spot and moved to a different - and cheaper hotel! It was more expensive here than the competition, maybe because they market the space with a beautiful pool!

We stayed at this property for the pool so we were upset to find out that the pool was closed during our visit. They offered access to a different hotel’s pool across the street, but it was very small. The hotel is undergoing renovations. Our original room was an old room. Luckily, we were able to move to a newer room. Location was great easy to get everywhere. Nice staff.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Concierge staff assisted in planning for an enjoyable stay. The breakfast buffet was good, though I did get very sick from something I ate on the last day—

Great location!

Check in was fine. When we got to the room and looked for the WiFi password it was not listed on our little packet with our room key, so had to WhatsApp to find out there is no password. And trying to CALL someone at the front desk? No, you have to use WhatsApp for EVERYTHING! room service, questions, etc.
