The location of Gran Hotel BARCINO in an excellent site in the Gothic area, very close to the underground train station. The staff are very friendly and helpful. A few minor issues, only one cup for the two of us, and did request another cup which was taken away by housekeeping the next day. Only supplied 2 sachets of coffee for one day and not replenished the next day, we were there for 4 days.

Excellent hotel, great location and friendly staff

This hotel is in perfect location particularly when staying just few days! It’s In old town but can also walk to beach area and other essential sights. Room is great size, house keeping daily and AC quiet . Would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable

The hotel is in the heart of the Gothic Quarter where there is so much to see and do. We loved exploring around the hotel. There is a surprise around every corner. It is a very quick walk to the metro as well. The breakfast was convenient and good, but compared to other hotels we visited on this trip it had less options. We appreciated the gluten free options and dairy free milk options. The air conditioning didn’t make the room super cool, but was sufficient. We loved the lobby with its leather couches. There weren’t other amenities like a gym or pool, but we wouldn’t have used them anyway because there was so much to see in Barcelona. It is a very clean hotel. Our room was spacious and looked out on the street. We didn’t keep our window open, but if we did it might be a bit noisy. We enjoyed our stay very much!

This is the second time we have stayed at the hotel. Both times it has been fantastic. Great staff and fantastic breakfast. It is extremely easy to walk anywhere from their location. It's in the Gothic quarter I think is the best area easily located to everything.

Clean hotel, nice staff, very professional. The hotel is older so the rooms are tiny and lack storage. No place to unpack your luggage. No dresser, no shelving, nothing. The rooms also have no place to sit and read, so i spent the downtime in the lobby.

We’ve visited Barcelona 8 times since 2002. We’ve stayed here each time. In fact we booked 5 rooms for or family in 2022 when we came for a big family vacation and it worked out beautifully. The location is convenient to many things. The people working here have changed over the years, but every time they have been friendly, helpful and professional. I don't want to stay anywhere else when I visit Barcelona!

Very nice terrace and staff were very helpful.

We loved being in the Gothic area. We were so close to everything. The desk staff were very helpful and the rooms were lovely. Enjoyed having a balcony. The breakfast was very tasty.

The hotel is clean and comfortable. The location is very convenient and easy to walk around and do some shopping. Their breakfast is super! Their staff are very nice, friendly and helpful. When we took off, the taxi cannot get to the front of hotel due to road block on that day. We have a wheelchair person and many pieces of luggage. Their hotel staff helped to carry our luggage to the taxi meeting point. We are very grateful !!! Their service is excellent and we strongly recommend this hotel.
