It's not much to look at from the outside with steps up to the narrow door which made carrying large heavy luggage a challenge but we were quickly greeted by a very helpful staff member who assumed all luggage duties. This is a small but beautifully decorated town house with a small elevator, which was handy as i was so tired from a long drive. Our room, 38, was beautifully decorated, a bit worn in places but very comfortable with a sitting area and large king bed. A separate loo with custom wall coverings and nice smelling soaps. Simple but effective shower room. We wanted to explore Portobello and be close for an early flight back from LHR so this was a great location. Lots of great places to eat and the famous market just 5 minutes walk AND AIR CONDITIONING which I have become very accustomed to after 30 years in USA. Will. I doubt book again.

If you like charming, then this is your place! We will be back to stay here again when we are in London. Such a lovely neighborhood. Easy walk to the tube/subway. Hotel staff very accommodating and friendly. One of our favorite things about our stay in London.

Naim was extremely friendly and helpful during check-in and throughout our stay. Highly recommend this hotel and will be staying here again the next time we're in London. Extremely quiet neighborhood and only a 5 minute walk to the market.

Compact but tidy and clean. Didn’t have breakfast but plenty of places nearby. No desk for work nor television though.

Boutique hotel with B&B feel. Good room was very small, but we were upgraded on the last night to a Marvellous room, which was amazing. The area has a wonderful energy, with lots of shopping and dining options. The Honour Bar on the main level is a wonderful touch.

The staff is very welcoming and so lovely. The hotel is warm, comfy, and very well cared for. The location is perfect, close to shops, food and beautiful parks. I can’t wait to return!

Lovely hotel, great staff and location. However the room was boiling when we arrived, the coffee machine wasn’t working properly, the lamps around the room weren’t working (aside from the bedside ones) and the bed was so small we were pretty uncomfortable all night. No top sheet so had to sleep with a comfortable but far too hot duvet, even with the window open and the aircon on cool! Aircon wouldn’t go below 19°. Bath was gorgeous and the shower pressure great, decor lovely - just a pretty uncomfortable nights sleep!

Very comfortable stay in a great neighborhood with easy access to the Tube. Lots of dining opportunities in walking distance.

This is a lovely, quiet, friendly, and small hotel. It's about a 10 minute walk from Notting Hill tube on a quiet street. It's also close to Portobello Market.

This property is in a beautiful neighborhood of London., Notting Hill. A short walk to the Tube, several great local restaurants to note. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was small and the bathroom smaller. Soft bed with quality linens and pillows. Very well appointed and very clean. We would stay here again.

The location and the apmosphere as well as the staff of the hotel were very good.

Most of the staff were very kind and accommodating. Especially housekeeping and those who are serving breakfast. Breakfast itself was very good. Bed and pillow were very comfortable. It would’ve been nice to have some acknowledgment of our Anniversary which we have noted on the reservation.
