Great location between the castle and the marketplace. Friendly staff and a comfortable room. I added breakfast and was glad I had - a nice continental selection with some hot food too.

Convenient location at a reasonable price.

This hotel is very clean and bright. The breakfast is good. The staff are friendly and helpful. The beds are comfortable. If you’re not on a big budget and not looking for luxury, this hotel is perfect

Ours was a small room, partly sub-ground level. Good location, parking station reasonably close by and relatively inexpensive.

This is an ok budget hotel. But it is described online as a "beach hotel" and promises nice views, which is not accurate. The views are dominated by a parking lot and the lake is blocks away. The rooftop terrace is mostly a place for smokers and the smoke and one needs to keep the windows closed to avoid the smoke drifting into rooms.

Or stay in the hotel was short but very nice. Room had a coffee machine. Very friendly staff. A very welcoming place.

It's a nice hotel, well situated near castle and also near central station. Everything is in walkable distance. Lots of stores, restaurants near. Room was big enough for one person, no frills but had everything one needs. I only wish they had a small coffee machine instead of the instant coffee but they had an electric kettle and tea so i used that instead.

This hotel is conveniently located in the Pedestrian Old City. Everything is in easy walking distance. This is a lovely historic place to visit, full of history, amazing architecture, beautiful lakes and an amazing castle. The hotel offered everything we needed, including laundry service and a bountiful breakfast. We highly recommend both the hotel and the city!

Excellent location in the middle of the city centre. Rooftop terrace is ok but would be wonderful if there was a bar for coffe and beer. My room was simple but functional.

The WiFi on second floor room was not working properly and the carpet of the corridor was dirty

Great location. Hotel needs a makeover. Some staff very friendly. Others less so. Breakfast offerings only mediocre and terrible coffee. Save your money and go to Kostbar right next door for excellent coffee and fantastic breakfast offerings, for about the same price.

Everything was amazing but I went to the roof just before 10 p.m. they close the door with a sign that says after 10 if you choose to use the patio please be respectful and quiet. It did not state that there was no other way in I need to knock on a window to have somebody open the door otherwise I would have slept on the patio.

In the old town on a quiet sreet but: most staff had very limited English and weren't welcoming at all, the room cleanliness wasn't good (it seems like I had my room cleaned by a different person on the 4th day though because my room suddenly got properly cleaned). Window was openned every day by the cleaners in zero temperatures and so I froze the first night when I got in at 10pm. Bland room, badly designed bathroom with nowhere to put toiletries or clothes, shower leaked water all over the floor. Just all a bit unpleasant. I am sure Schwerin must have better places to stay.

Pleasant hotel, located in the centre of town. Only downside was the noise from street cleaning machines and general street noise early each morning. We had to keep the bedroom window as there wasn't air con in the room

This cosy hotel was well priced, ideally located within a few blocks of Schwerin Schloss, only steps from pedestrian shopping street. It would have been perfect if only the bed had been comfortable. This was the most uncomfortable bed we had during our 19 day trip.
