Rooms were not clean. Breakfast was not provided. Was locked out of my room with inop key, manager had to use crowbar to break into my room. The property has serious maintenance issues and is struggling. Staff was nice enough, but indifferent, mainly only able to be apologetic but not able to do much. The manager wrote me the same canned BS answer about being able to see the room before checking in. But who checks the shower first thing when you get your room? No one. So it wasn't until the next morning that I found out the shower did not work well at all. They moved me to a different room for my second night, it was the one which had the lock out problem. The point is, as a franchisee, you should be held to some minimum standards that go with your brand. I'm not looking for Ritz Carlton level of service or rooms. Yet, I'm not looking for a flop house either. These rooms should never be offered if they have serious issues .....holes in the doors, mold on the shower curtain and tub, cracked mirror, burned night table, inoperative lights. More problems could be listed. If I were Days Inn corporate, I would put this franchise on notice to clean up its act or loose the franchise.

Rating: 1/5 Stars (Only because zero isn't an option) ​I booked a night stay at the Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Caseyville expecting a basic level of cleanliness and functionality. What I received was an immediate, visceral lesson in disappointment. This wasn't a hotel stay; it was an active exercise in endurance, a monument to corporate negligence, and, frankly, a public health hazard. Upon entry, I was immediately hit by a potent, damp odor—a vile mixture of stale cigarettes and industrial-strength mildew. The carpet was a tapestry of unidentifiable stains, looking less like flooring and more like a forensic crime scene. ​- Had to change 3 rooms one worst than the other - Elevator doesn't work - No breakfast available Do not, under any circumstances, allow yourself or a loved one to stay at this establishment. Save your money, save your sanity, and save yourself the trouble of scrubbing the lingering feeling of dread off your skin. This hotel is not just bad; it is actively, aggressively hostile to the concept of hospitality. It should be shut down and fumigated.

They charged us for the room after we had paid Expedia. Said it was for a deposit and would be returned in 3 days. However they put it through as a charge instead. Nothing in the room but bed, 3 tables and tv. No towels or blankets. Only sheets on bed.

Never again will I even try to book here. Had to wait at least 5 minutes for the front desk guy who barely spoke English, went to our first room key didn’t work, front desk gave us a new room, not even cleaned at all, went to the front desk asking him to clean that room or at least give us clean sheets and clean the bathroom, but instead he gave us a third room; got to that room key didn’t work so that’s when he said I can either give you another room or get out, I told him give me my money back so he refunded. I’ve worked hotels before the key issues are easily fixed by reentering the key in the computer, and I know for a fact housekeeping will train front desk people to at least make a bed. This is the absolute worst experience at hotels ever in my life.

I originally booked the room for 3 nights. We don't have high expectations other than a clean and functional space to sleep and shower. We arrived and the light switch when we walked in the room did not work. There were stains on both comforters. One of them looked to be blood. I found a very long dark hair in my bed when I pulled the sheets back. The lone garbage can in the room was way under the vanity in the bathroom. When we pulled it out to throw something away it was full of water as the sink drain poured out when you used the sink. The garbage bag was hung in the closet and had bugs on it. The toilet seat was not bolted on and moved when you sat on it. The shower curtain was white, but dark gray/brown at the bottom as it was so dirty. The shower curtain was one of those rounded ones to give you more room I the shower but it was not secured properly. So it actually curved down and the shower curtain kept falling towards the middle so water was pouring out all over the floor and the floor in the bathroom was basically a pond by the time you got out of the shower. The bolt on the door was also just dangling off the wall and usable. There were also other guest yelling in the hallway. I cancelled the 2nd and 3rd night staying at this location and lost money just to not stay there. It was the worst hotel experience I have had
