Value for the price was my biggest issue. $540/night for what was a basic double queen hotel room. Pools were ok, private beach was not. I would have thought the lake bottom would have been cleared of rocks and debris so swimmers could actually go in? It was not really swimmable. Our neighbours were loud wedding guests where the “f” word was used as a noun, verb, adverb and pronoun, very classy at 11pm. $35 entree at the one restaurant overdid the chicken quite badly. Parking is horrible! Constantly looking for a spot. Basically there are not enough spots to accommodate hotel guests and the extra restaurant patrons at the same time so parking from around 3pm to 9pm is impossible. Boardwalk was closed. Not one comment pre check in about this, not one comment from staff, nothing.? Smoke conditions closed all outside dining. Not the hotels fault of course but again no mention of such for awarenesss. No consideration on the price. Room was clean. Staff were friendly. Check in was a little weird as no one offered to help with luggage. Got the trolley on our own, got our bags from the car a long ways away due to parking and took it all up to the second floor. Our price point warranted the no view inside room I guess? This was a trip to Kelowna for medical reasons. We’d lived in Kelowna for several years previous and wanted to “treat” ourselves to what we thought was a more upscale hotel on the lake. Meh, not so much. Should have gotten a regular hotel, 1/2 the price.

We truly enjoyed our stay here. First impression: staff were very kind and helpful. The view and balcony were perfect and the room was clean. Restaurant food was delicious and many activities to partake in. 10/10 overall and will come back again.

We have always enjoyed the eldorado properties but the last two times we have been the service has deteriorated. I hope they can fix their service standards to reflect the price they of the property.

The room was small, the shower was clogged couldn't take a shower without ankle high water every time. Tried calling housekeeping for additional towels & soap, no one answered. If staying again will pick a different room as amenities were 8/10 room was 4/10

My favourite place to stay when I visit Kelowna! It has quickly become my home away from home. I always book a lakeside room because the view is truly amazing! The rooms are comfortable and very well kept! The staff are super friendly and accommodating. I also really enjoy the restaurant downstairs Maestro’s. Great food, gorgeous views of the lake and the staff are just the nicest people! Already looking forward to my next stay!

Rooms are starting to look run down from years past. Sand in the adult pool from a wind storm on Saturday was started to be cleaned on Sunday and then left. Wednesday and the pool was still dirty. Amenities used to include a pool table, air hockey table etc in the indoor pool area. All gone. Still charged $30/day for resort fee. Used to love this hotel but it needs some love. Especially for the cost per night.

Stayed there at the end of July. Had a pleasant stay with our family for the most part. I would say though that half the time the kids pool amenities weren’t working, took quite some effort on our end to get anyone to come and take a look at it to fix. Also getting drinks at the pool took 45 minutes at one point. The front desk wasn’t super helpful with room requests (more pillows, towels) either. Other than that our stay went well.

The hotel was well kept and clean. The pools were amazing and the views were breathtaking. Only thing I would suggest is for a bigger gym.

The whole boardwalk in front of the hotel was closed indefinitely, which was a huge draw to being right on the water at the higher price point. The resort was also a bit dated, but overall we had a good stay.

Very well-maintained facility overall - despite the age. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay for 2 nights. They had 100th birthday celebration while we were staying. I would very likely come back again in the future.

The entire hotel needs a major renovation, especially considering the cost of the room (the highest per night rate I have ever paid and we have stayed at Fairmont properties). I am quite disappointed. The A/C unit sounded like an airplane taking off and shook the TV cabinet so it rattled. It since was 37 degrees in Kelowna and we couldn’t sleep with the A/C on or off because it got too hot we had a poor sleep. We moved to a different room for a second night and this one was missing the smoke detector. A pretty significant safety issue. The hotel is tired as are their systems. I had to request my bill 3 times to be emailed. I have yet to get a call back from a manager to address any of the above issues. I have requested a call 3 times already and I am not holding by breath. I would not stay at this property again.

Property is old. The air conditioning unit right outside our bedroom was very loud. The kitchen was not well stocked. Our unit could hold 7 people but had a tiny keurig machine. They could not find us a coffee pot. The knives could not cut anything. The blinds in the bedroom were broken. The service at the pool was very slow. When we left our Uber was not allowed at the front door by the staff when there was no one around at 7:30 a.m. Not a good experience. Will not go back
