For the price, the property is very dated and poorly maintained.

Located near the metro station which had several different metro lines meeting for transfers. That made it easy to get to pretty much anywhere in the city from that station. Also made it easy to get back to that station when you were out exploring the city and wanted to hop on the metro to return to the hotel. The rooftop pool and gym were really an asset! Great to be able to work out or swim, and have an excellent view of Ave 9 de Julio and the Obelisco below while doing so. Right across the street from Teatro Colon and the excellent Tango Porteño! Truly a nice hotel in a very convenient location of the city. Staff were very helpful and accommodating!

Very nice room. Perfect location. Amazing facilities. The only minor issue is that the room is a tad out of date, would love to see USB chargers, esp since Argentina uses weird plugs.

Excellent property.

The condition of the room we stayed on 3/17 & 3/18 was not good. However the room we stayed on 3/21 was excellent.

The staff is very nice & helpful. Outside the hotel are some homeless people.

Worst Marriott hotel we have ever stayed over the past 20 years!!! Have been a gold level member for years. Here we go: 1, room directly across from elevator 2. hallway hardwood floor outside room raised over several inches and we tripped when we go out of our room. 3. the floor inside the room is also warped and raised a few inches above other area and we tripped inside our room too. 4 the shower faucet is broken. The water goes out from both lower faucet and shower head at the same time. 5 bathroom door frame is badly deformed and cannot be closed at all. 6, broken vanity counter and toilet tank cover. 7. No tissue paper in the room. 8. Breakfast is so bad that we only had coffee from a pot: all three cut meats were not fresh and smelt sour and felt slimy. The cooked veggie mix was not fresh and tasted very bad. The food would have made us sick if we had eaten any. This hotel is old, but the key problem is that the management was bad. Lots of things could be done to make an old hotel still a good one… but not this one. DO NOT CHOOSE THIS ONE!

The Buenos Aires Marriott Hotel is truly a five star property with superb customer service, comfortable and quiet rooms, and the best location right on the iconic 9 de Julio Blvd. With easy access to many shops and restaurants such as the Confitería La Ideal in the San Nicolás neighborhood as well as tourist sites like the Obelisk (Obelisco) and the Colon Theatre (Teatro Colón), you can’t go wrong. From the moment we arrived, the friendly, knowledgeable staff went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Romina Pazos and others from the reception desk took time to share with us information regarding local dining options and even emailed a comprehensive list to me. This was a real team effort by all employees. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The location is great and the customer service is superb. But even more impressive are the hotel amenities, the most impressive, of course, are the amazing views you experience from the 23rd floor where there is even a heated pool and a gym. From the 23rd floor, you can also see most of 9 de Julio, the Colon Theatre and even the Atlantic Ocean. The view of sunset from Marriott’s 23rd floor is stunning! And on the first floor, there is a restaurant that offers a buffet breakfast with omelets to order, as well as lunch and dinner. I wholeheartedly recommend this property for business or pleasure as I saw businessmen and tourist groups as well.

Everything was excellent, staff was very friendly

We stayed here because the Marriott is always a sure bet. The staff at this hotel were fabulous. No complaints at all. The hotel itself is tired looking and needs to be redone. The rooms are large, but they need updating. Everything just looks old And scuffed up.
