Great friendly staff. Beautiful property with horses as you drive in.

This is definitely a hidden gem, it is a short distance from the city center but well worth the drive, it has so much to offer, restaurant, lounge, pool and hot tub. All on a working ranch with a golf course right next door. They offer complimentary pedal bikes and maps of the trails nearby to hike/cycle. The back road to the city center has the most amazing views of the Hoodoo mountains, river and you might even see big horn sheep. If you are looking for a charming, quaint Inn this is it, you will not be disappointed with the level of service, hospitality and friendliness of the staff and new owners. I look forward to my next visit

Room was run down. Property run down. Had to ask for a fridge -twice Pool wasn’t working and hottub was filthy. Asked them to clean it and we had to do it ourselves. Let a day early

The outdoor hot tub did not look clean and usable. May 15. The balcony is attached to several rooms, so you can enjoy your morning coffee and polite conversation with your neighbors while watching the folks practice at the driving range. Our room was near the end of the hallway (31), and while the hallway smelled of septic, it did not smell inside our room. There was no mini fridge.

Cute room, with nice patio. The staff is not the most professional. Beds are hard and squeaky. The hot tub was not working. Staff didn’t disclose this when I confirmed at check in so it was a surprise when we tried to use it. When asked when it would be fixed we were told they didn’t know, but none of the front desk staff seemed to care. One front desk person pointed at a person drinking a beer and said “that’s the maintenance worker”. The reason we chose to stay outside of town was for these amenities that we could not use at all during our stay. We asked for a partial refund due to this and the manager or owner came with a bottle of wine? I guess that is something.

It was a beautiful room and the grounds are lovely.

Everything was great. If you want to go somewhere peaceful with a great view and super friendly and helpful staff, this is the place to go. We had a small issue with some guest noise on a Friday but staff resolved quickly. Love the walk to visit the horses in the mornings and sitting in the gazebo watching birds. I think that this hotel should advertise the golf course next door, I think golfers would love to stay right next to the golf course.

Property is lovely if a bit dated and ‘tired’ looking. Restaurant didn’t look like it’s been open for a long time. Pool and hit tub were closed. Room was supposed to be a king bed room and ended up being two queens, a bit of a disappointment as we rarely get to book that. No room fridge. Coffee machine offers powdered whitener that one expects from a two star roadside motel. Definitely not more than 2.5 to 3 stars.

Very nice setting and a lovely property. Staff are also helpful and friendly. The property itself feels in need of updates, though it certainly has a classic charm.

Clean comfortable room on the river. The room and the deck need updating. The restaurant is not open all day and we found the food to be only passable. It is right beside a golf course so if golfing is your thing, great! The staff is exceptional.

Very friendly and welcoming, incredible view, nice balcony

We had a wonderful stay at South Thompson Inn. The customer service was excellent and truly outstanding from start to finish. A special thanks to Disney at the front desk, who went above and beyond by calling me ahead of our arrival time to inform that the restaurant would be closing at 8 PM. This thoughtful gesture allowed me to plan ahead and avoid any inconvenience. The place is very calm and serene. The property is well maintained and offers a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. Everything felt clean, organized, and welcoming throughout my visit. The morning coffee service was also a nice touch and a great way to start the day. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Overall, this is a well-managed property with attentive staff and a warm, inviting environment. I would definitely recommend it to my friends and would gladly stay here again.

It was a quiet place with staff that were both attentive and yet not intrusive. The veranda was a lovely place to sit, just outside my room, with a view of the hills and nature. Despite how peaceful it was, getting to Kamloops was quick and easy. It was clean.

Great view, comfortable bed!

Loved our stay here. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, they really made us feel so welcome. The room was spacious, clean and bed was very comfortable. We loved being able to have a hot tub and look over the river. We picked this hotel due to its location. We loved the peacefulness and scenery. If we are ever in the area we will definitely be back.

Everything was wonderful. The grounds were beautiful and the staff so kind and welcoming. I would highly recommend staying here. My bed was so comfortable and the room the cleanest I have ever seen in a hotel. I was travelling with my Maltipoo Mango and she was welcomed as well. Thank you for such a lovely relaxing spot. Also, my daughter was in an adjoining room and she used the hot tub and said it was wonderful and very clean. Will definately be back again soon.

Great Spot if you like to be outta reach of a city’s amenities. Just wonderful.

I would stay there again. Such nice staff. It’s quiet and located just 10 minutes outside of Kamloops. Secure with view of the river on one side of the Inn and horses and sound of the song birds on the other.
