We were unable to make our flight, but staff was great to help check us in the day before so when we landed the following day early we could get into our room once we landed. Location is super ideal, easy to get to where you need to go without vehicle. This was our second stay at this hotel, would recommend.

it is a big hassle to check in. The hotel requires photo id for everyone in the group (not just the lead person). Not everyone from BC has photo ID if they don'thave a driving license. Really only the person booking or whose credit card is being charged needs id? And then does it need to be scanned and saved? The hotel has no policy for when the scanned photo id is deleted, which means all the ID is available on the cloud for an unlimited time. Finally the $150 damage deposit apparently takes 14 days to refund?

Room is clean, with a nice view. The staff were ok. Using and cooking your own meals in the kitchen is an option if you want to save.

Older but well kept hotel with unique character. Great location.

The unit we stayed in had a kitchen. We only used the microwave and coffee maker.

I couldnt make it for the stay because my car broke down. Even after calling them couple of times, they still would not provide an alternative date or refund me the amount. The staff was not at all helpful. I have stayed in this hotel before but not anymore. Really disappointed.

Parking was convenient

My experience got off to a rocky start because the room assigned was unsuitable for two guests. It was at best a true bachelor room even though I had reserved and paid for a room suitable for two. Unfortunately the error could not be corrected until the next day when a new room was assigned. It appears the turmoil of changing hotel names (and owners?) may have played a role. Very disappointing. In spite of this and in spite of the decor and conveniences being dated, I was impressed with the courtesy, professionalism and friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the rooms. The rest of my stay was quiet and enjoyable. If you are looking for good, clean and quiet accommodation at a reasonable price in downtown Vancouver the Hotel Opportunity ( most recent name) is a very good choice.

I didn't know if I'm picky but.. I I'll probably will not go back... it's really noisy due to traffic.. it felt like I'm sleeping next to the road.

A convenient and super easy place to stay at a very central location and at a super reasonable price given Vancouver prices. What's not to like?

Huge room, two queen beds, dining area, full size kitchen, balcony and parking available in an excellent area of Robson Street, downtown Vancouver.

Loved staying here! The room was soo spacious & had everything you’d need in the kitchen. Our puppy also had a great time & the staff at the front desk were extremely welcoming & friendly. Great location on Robson, very much recommend
